Please describe the pool at AKL

AKL has bunk beds.
How is the pool ?

water sildes ?
water falls ?
zero entry ?
anything special ?
open 24 hours ?
heated ?
can it handle large crowds in the afternoon ?
seats to sit on ?

Our pool favorite is the Swan/Dolphin so far.
But no bunk beds at the Swan Dolphin.

AKL's pool is quite nice, IMO.

It has zero entry, a waterslide, is heated (we were there this past Feb and it was super warm!!) There are a fair amount of chairs scattered around the pool, so seating was never a problem.

The bar right by the pool is quite nice as well.

Some folks are a little surprised at first by the color of the water in the pool. The bottom is painted a different color so it looks like an African watering hole, so the water has a murky look to it. It's not really murky, it's just a clever visual effect.

We didn't have large crowds when we were there, but I imagine it could handle a fair amount of people. It is fairly good size.

AKL pool is the biggest on property I believe. It is open 24 hours a day. The lifeguards do leave at 10 pm. The water slide is OK, nothing fancy. and closes when the lifeguards leave. It does have a zero entry area which is nice. Per the lifeguard last month, it is heated. Actually, it is a little too warm in my opinion. The pool can handle fairly large crowds but when they start playing water frisbee or football in the pool, it can seem crowded. There always seems to be enough chairs all around the pool. We have always gotten a seat to put our towels on and looking around there are always empty seats. We do like the pool alot and spend part of almost every day there just relaxing.
