Please describe community swimming facilities at Windsor Hills?

what is the smimming area like? Is there whirlpools, Zero entry, etc?

There is a whirlpool, very large and nice. The pool has zero entry and a fabulous water slide. There is also an area of fountains coming out of the ground where little ones like to play. It's a beautiful pool and clubhouse.

The swimming area is huge with a zero entry area ( about 40ft wide) in the middle section in front of where you come out of the clubhouse. You can wade out toward the middle and it's still only 3 ft or so.
It's all one big pool but the area to the left of the middle is where the big water slide is. Also beside the zero entry area there's a splash area for kids with fountains that come up out of the deck. Directly across from the middle section of the pool is a secluded area with a big hot tub. There's lots of lounge chairs all around the pool. Here's the website but there's a lot more vegetation now than when those pictures were taken. There's also outdoor ping pong tables next to the pool! (One of my favorites!). One thing to be aware of, there is a height requirement (48") for kids to ride the water slide, best to know this up front! There is a slide attendant to monitor this, as this is the only deep part of the pool. No lifeguards, so you need to supervise your kids closely.

The clubhouse also has a games room, video games (arcade style), fitness center, locker rooms, sundry shop, and a movie theater you can watch movies in for free! (Sundry shop has a collection of movies you can schedule to watch for free in the theater!).

The sundry shop offers free sports rental equipment (deposit required) for basketball, tennis, volleyball, and golf putting areas.

You do need to get a "prox" card to use the pool facilities, there's a welcome center in the clubhouse where you signup for one and pay a refundable $6 fee for it. If you're going to play golf next door at Mystic Dunes you can get a card here as well for a huge discount.

Also, new in the clubhouse, Expedia has a tickets / attractions "concierge" who sells park and attractions tickets at discounted prices.

There is also a Windsor Hills Resort cable TV channel on every home's TV set (it's either 21 or 22).

Pool / clubhouse hours are 8am - 10pm daily.
