So here is my current plan for park days. I'd appreciate some feedback (the good, the bad, and the ugly!). Thank you! :)

6/24 - Arrive at DHS ~3pm. Have FP+ booked for TSMM, Star Tours, and Lights, Motor, Action before ADR at 50's Prime Time Cafe at 7:10pm. Stay until park close.
6/25 - Arrive at MK for RD. Have FP+ booked for Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear. Stay until around 2 or 3pm, then go back to condo to swim / nap. Return later in the evening for more riding and Dessert Party.
6/26 - Go to one of the water parks for the day. Maybe go to EP or MK in evening.
6/27 - Go to IOA or USF for the day.
6/28 - Arrive at EP for RD. Have FP+ booked for Test Track, Spaceship Earth and Journey into Imagination. Stay until 2 or 3pm, then back to condo to swim. 7:20pm ADR at Beaches and Cream.
6/29 - Arrive at AK for RD. Have FP+ booked for Safari, Dinosaur and Kali River Rapids. Stay until about 1pm and then go to the water park we didn't go to the other day. Maybe go to EP or MK in the evening.
6/30 - Go to the other Universal park we didn't go to the other day.
7/1 - Arrive at MK for RD. Have FP+ booked for Anna and Elsa, Splash Mountain and Buzz Lightyear. Stay until 3pm when we have to leave for the airport.

Who is in the traveling party?

It seems like a fine plan, so long as everyone involved can handle how strenuous it is. If it was me and my family, I'd need at least one rest day somewhere during an 8 day stay, where we just hang in the resort during the day and maybe go to DTD at night. And I don't consider visiting the waterparks a "rest day."

Good point! My travel party consists of myself, my 14 year old son and 9 year old daughter. We've been to Orlando together as a family twice before (June 2008 and June 2011), both for 8 days/7 nights, and we've never had or needed a rest day. Since we don't get to Disney very often, we want to pack in as much as we can. We can rest at home! :rotfl2:

Buzz light year in MK and Journey into the imagination have never been ones for us that warranted a FP+. I'm not sure of what your choices were to pick from but you may want to look into rides with longer waits to save time overall to get the most out of your time. On the day of the first water park you may want to go ahead and pick FP+ for a park. If you opt for the other park you can always switch them the day of but at least you'll have something lined up.

I agree with you re: Buzz and Journey. My thinking on both of those was just that I needed to pick something since you HAVE to pick 3. In MK we plan to head to BTMRR at RD to ride as many times as we can. Then check out Splash and if SB isn't too long ride it then but have FP+ for later. Then head to HM and around to FL. We don't plan on doing really anything in FL, except for Mine Train and I would swap out Buzz for Mine Train when that's available. Kids don't care for POTC or Jungle Cruise so no need to FP+ those. In EP, the only rides we've ever FP'd have been TT and Soarin'. So we plan to head to Soarin at RD and use FP+ on TT. Again , just had to pick to two others.

Maybe I should also explain my FP+ strategy at DHS because I can see that being questioned. :) My kids won't ride ToT or RnR which is why those are missing.

Thank you for the idea to at least pick out some FP+ on our first water park day. :worship: Hadn't thought of that but will definitely do that now. :)

I hear ya. :) Everyone's different and can handle different levels of endurance. Me, my dogs are barking after just a few hours. :lmao:
