I totally love that you can make your ADR's 180 days in advance now & for the whole trip! How cool is that!?! I remember last year getting up at 6:00 am exactly ninety days prior to each day I wanted a ADR...

Okay, for our trip (me, DH, 6 year old DD, & 4 year old DS) in June of this year, following are our current plans:

Tues, 6/13 - Arrival Day

Dinner: Columbia Harbour House @ MK

Wed, 6/14 - MGM

Breakfast: Hotel
Lunch: Toy Story Pizza Planet
Dinner: Mama Melrose's (Fantasmic Dinner Package)

*NOTE: I'm holding this day's breakfast open in case that great-sounding character meal at Hollywood & Vine becomes a reality!

Thurs, 6/15 - Epcot

Breakfast: Hotel
Lunch: Garden Grille (my parents will be w/ us for this meal)
Dinner: World Showcase Counter Service

Fri, 6/16 - MK

Breakfast: Hotel
Lunch: Crystal Palace (my parents will be w/ us for this meal)
Dinner: Counter Service (maybe Columbia Harbour House again)

Sat, 6/17 - MK

Breakfast: Hotel
Lunch: CRT
Dinner: Counter Service

Sun, 6/18 - AK

Breakfast: Donald's Breakfastasaurus
Lunch: Flame Tree
Dinner: San Angel Inn @ Epcot (6/18 is Father's Day, & DH has always wanted to eat here)

Mon, 6/19 - "Let's go do what we missed earlier" Day

Breakfast: Hotel
Lunch: Counter Service
Dinner: Liberty Tree Tavern @ MK

Tues, 6/20 - Departure Day :sad1:

Breakfast: Whispering Canyon Cafe (if we stay at WL)
Lunch: Earl of Sandwich @ Downtown Disney

We'll have the Dining Plan (so 7 table service credits & 7 counter service credits). Is there anything we're missing? Anything anyone would do differently?

We tried Chef Mickey's last year, and, this year, we're trying to eat at some different restaurants. However, last year, we ate at more resorts (Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, Ohana at the Poly, Boma at the AKL), and, this year, we're only eating at the Whispering Canyon Cafe (and that's only if we stay there...). So, I feel like we're missing out on the "resort-restaurant" experience, if that makes sense... We really enjoyed Boma last year, & I would kind of like to work that in somewhere. But that would mean another table service, and, w/ CRT now counting as 2 TS's, I'm already up to 9.

If a character meal at Hollywood & Vine does, in fact, become a reality, I'll cancel Donald's Breakfastasaurus. I know this is kind of early to be planning for June (but it's so FUN! :goodvibes ) Besides CRT, I realize I have time to rework our dining plans, so any suggestions?

Thanks!! :)

I think it sounds great. You're really doing a good variety of places. Your kids will love it!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

I would recommend going to Whispering Canyon even if you're not staying at WL. Great experience and delicious food!

It looks good! My kids loved WC and the Garden Grill. If you wind up with an opening the Boma at AKL is excellent! I'm sure you'll enjoy all of your choices! Have fun! :earsboy:

Hey Wendy, your travel dates are the exact same as ours! I am fine tuning my ADRs right this very minute.

After my meal at Mama's last week, I will never do it again.

Everything was bland. The dessert was the same as could be gotten at the Starring Rolls bakery.

It was the first time in the history of my relationship with the boyo that I've seen him turn down a second slice of pizza or not finish his pasta.

We both thought it was the worst meal of the trip (Yes, even below counter service) and will never return.

I've never been to H& V, but the Brown Derby is tasty.

--San Angel does have very tasty pork tacos. I enjoyed them heartily.
--The BBQ beef sandwich at Flame Tree was EXTREMELY Lean and tasty. I suggest the chocolate cake over the Key Lime Pie.
Just my two cents.
