It will be our first trip and DD's 4th birthday. I know we have a lot of character meals but I think she will really enjoy them all (hopefully). We are on the deluxe dining plan because both DH and DD get really grumpy if they don't eat regularly. I still need to use up 3 QS/TS credits so I might cancel Rainforest Cafe on the last day and do a QS lunch instead.

Okay, based on suggestions, changes are in red:

Monday, November 15
Arrive, check-in
Dinner 1900 Park Fare @ 4:30 (3 TS)
MK parade & fireworks

Tuesday, November 16 (DD’s Birthday!)
BBB @ 8:30
Breakfast CRT @ 9:25 (6 TS)
Lunch (3 QS)
Dinner Crystal Palace @ 6:20 (3 TS)

Wednesday, November 17
Breakfast Hollywood & Vine @ 8:30 (3 TS) now 8:00
Lunch Pizza Planet (3 QS) now Sci-Fi @ 12:30 (3 TS)
Dinner Raglan Road @ 6:30 (3 TS) going to change this, just not sure to what yet

Thursday, November 18
Breakfast Akershus @ 8:30 (3 TS)
Lunch Le Cellier’s @ 1:05 (3 TS)
Dinner T-Rex @ 6:45 (OOP)

Friday, November 19
Breakfast Donald’s Safari @ 8:30 (3 TS)
Lunch Rainforest Café @ 1:00 (OOP) now Flame Tree BBQ (3 QS)

Thanks!! :)

You've got a great list of restaurants! Akershus is awesome and your DD will love the character meals you've booked. If you cancel Rainforest Cafe (at AK I assume), Flame Tree BBQ is a great QS! Yummy bbq and you can sit outside overlooking the lake.

Thank you! That's exactly what I was looking for. We will try Flame Tree BBQ. :)

Your ADRs look really good for your DD's age. The only one I would consider changing is Raglan Road. We all didn't think that the food was very good and my DH who loves Irish music/dance didn't even like the entertainment. If you want to eat in DTD, we had a fabulous dinner one night at Wolfgang Pucks Cafe. My DD raved about their kids pizza and my DH asked why I had never made an ADR there before because it was his favorite new restaraunt of the entire trip.

Thanks for the suggestion. We might just have to try WPC. :) I'm even considering going ADR free that night and maybe try Earl of Sandwich instead.

I agree with both posters, Flame Tree BBQ is my favorite place to eat at Animal Kingdom. Great QS place. If you wanted a sit down meal then Tusker House is good also.
I would probably reconsider Raglan Road also. I was going to eat there with my two little ones last year and the hostess told me it wasn't really a super kid friendly place as it's also a bar/lounge at night so we went to Planet Hollywood instead. That has been my DD6's favorite DTD restaurant now since she was 2 or 3. It's a bit loud inside but there is so much to look at everywhere and I've never had a bad meal there. However my favorite QS place to eat at DTD is Earl of Sandwich...there sandwiches are sooooo yummy. I also eat there on the last day and eat a sandwich there and take one to go for the plane.

Here's a few thoughts! Have a wonderful trip!

We do DxDDP but all table service. We like TS because DS has allergies and it's easier for the chefs to make stuff for him... plus there's so many fun places to eat! Don't forget, you will get appetizers too (for adults unless it's a buffet or family style meal). Some people say TS takes away time from the parks... but I consider it a break... Can't go, go, go all the time. Plus we do several signature restaurants or a show that charge 2 credits.

Dinner at 1900 Park Fare should be fun! We are going there in Dec. with DH DW and DS5. Be sure to enjoy the lobby music (orchestra and piano player). Not sure if Christmas decorations will be up yet, but they may be building the gingerbread house.

Love Crystal Palace. Pooh characters are great. Food is wonderful!

On Nov. 17, Hollywood Studios opens at 9am. I would try to get your H&V breakfast earlier at 8am. I just checked and an 8am ADR is available. That way, you are done breakfast close to park opening time and you can start getting your Toy Story FPs and ride while it's not as crowded. Like others said, I'd skip Raglan Rd. and no one seems to like the pizza at the planet. There's some other fun table service restaurants to use those credits... for Lunch, how about 50s Prime Time? SciFi doesn't have the best food, but it's kind of interesting to sit in cars and watch movie clips. For Dinner, I don't know... if not set on downtown Disney, I'd go somewhere else to eat.

On Thursday, I'd skip T-Rex and stay at Epcot and go to the character dinner at Garden Grill. Downtown Dis just doesn't appeal to me. I'll have to check it out. I know Le Cellier's gets a lot of hype, and I feel like I should go, but I didn't try to get an ADR, it just looks boring for kids... and for really good food, we have ADRs at some signature restaurants (California Grill, Citricos, Flying Fish, etc.). There are some fun places to have lunch at Epcot. If you made a 1pm ADR at Chefs de France, it is possible (not guaranteed) to see Remy (starting at 1:40). Coral Reef has huge wall aquariums. And we liked Marrakesh. A later lunch like you plan will be when the belly dancing starts and the music and food is great.

Donald's Safari breakfast is awesome. Be sure to eat the bread pudding! On that day, I'd skip Rainforest Cafe... but only because we have 1 at home. If you have never been there, the thunder supposedly can scare kids... now my DS when 3 and 4 went on the Dinosaur Ride at AK, so big deal... Not as exciting I guess.... but we really love Yak and Yeti, It's an interesting place to eat with kids because of all the decor... but most of all we loved the food... and with deluxeDDP, honestly the appetizers filled me up a bit.. plus I can get my Safari Amber draft beer!

This has been debated so you might want to double check but rainforest cafe and T-Rex were not on the DDP last year. Some have said it has changed but last time I checked it wasnt on the list disney gives you. Double check these so you dont end up paying OOP for these 2 since you have already splurged for DxDDP!! Have a great time!!!!

I just double checked on ALLEARs and niether is listed. double check though because things might have changed.

I am not sure why you would pay oop for any meals. You can have three ts each night of stay. I didn't see any (2) table service credits, and you commented that you have remaining credits. (It's early and I may be missing something, but it's worth it to double check.)

You have alot of breakfasts - I know you have Dx, so you have the 3ts per day. With Dx, my pref would be to use snack credits for breakfast and book more signature (2ts) places.

How about replacing Raglan Road with HBD in that it is your HS day anyways - we had a good meal there and with DX you should have enough credits to double up. I dont think Weds are usually Fantasmic show days, but check because if it is you could book it as a Fantasmic dinner to get the guaranteed seating.

Right - you're staying 4 nights - that's 12 ts credits pp. I count you using 11pp with your current schedule (with crt being your only double), so you at least have one more ts to use rather than paying oop. On second look though, I see that your op acknowledges that you have 1 ts left to use.
