please convince me that it is the right thing to stay onsite at univeral for two days before our disney trip

i have a quote of $1194.88 for room and tickets for 4 adults and one 12 year old (which i will have to commit to tomorrow)

is it really worth all that to stay at Royal Pacific for two days -

convince me or maybe not!!!!

That seems really high to me, not sure it would be worth it for only 2 days??

How much is the hotel room? Or are you renting two rooms?

Two nights at 300/night (including 50 per extra 3rd and 4th adult) is 600 for the hotel but 3 days of FOTL for 5 people.

We have done even a single overnight at Universal because FOTL was such a great perk.

What is FOTL?

Royal Pacific is a beautiful resort, I think you'll love it. With that in mind, could you break down how much you're paying a night fo us? It seems a little high to me for two days. I'm just saying that because that's close to what I pay for a week.

If you're able to post that then we can tell you if it's a good deal or not. :)

BTW, if you've never been to UO then go. You will love it I'm sure. ;)

What is FOTL?
Even though some of the hotels tell you that and you see FOTL on the boards, there is no such thing as FOTL at the parks and there is not an actual FOTL pass. Onsite guests receive unlimited Express access during their stay...using their room key as the Express pass...but do NOT get "front of the line" access...they have to wait in the Express line...they do not skip to the front. The only people who receive that perk are the ones who actually pay for a VIP tour.

We just got back from RPR and absolutely loved it :lovestruc

However, I would point out that we paid $1146.19 for 7 nights! We did buy our park tickets separately though.

Sounds like you are looking at a package. Usually for UO it is a lot less expensive to go piece part your trip than to purchase a vacation package. Mapleleaftickets.com has some good prices right now and then the US website also has the $10 off. You can sometimes get a better raete by having an AP or AAA but you need to check to see if the rates are there first.

If you are going in the next few weeks, well rack rate is all that is left it looks like.

Let us know your dates and we can help you price it better. We are going for 5 nights the week of June 20th and it is $1184 with the tickets....that included one AP renewel.

We added a few nights at RPR hotel before our upcoming July WDW trip and we couldn't be more excited. GO FOR IT:thumbsup2

according to my quote it is $638.48 for one room and $556.40 for tickets for 4 adults and one 12 year old for two nights 7/8 to 7/10 and that quote is using the Universal Fan Club rate - i called AAA and got $1284 for the same -

i know if i stay longer it will be a better deal but we are checking into CBR on 7/10
