Stan'sMaggieMouse, here is a swap that I was trying to be in....but it wasn't for our whole week. You might want to take my old spot since I'm now in this one? The dates were 9/29 through October....so you'd not have the fridge for a few days when you first got there? I've successfully been in a swap before and know how it works...and let me tell yah...communication is key.

Normally it gets misplaced somehow once baggage services takes it. They are no small boxes by any means, so it still baffles me as well as to how it gets lost. I've read elsewhere that if you can't directly hand it off to the next person, that you should try to get a claim slip to hold them a little more responsible to not lose it.

Hi, we were scheduled to take the fridge from 9/27-10/4. We're going to take ourselves off the list. My husband reminded me that we didn't take our fridge last year, so we probably wouldn't need one this year either. If we get closer to our dates and see we'll be needing one, we'll figure out a way to take ours....thank you!

marcia - i have a friend who's staying at pop in early december. i told her about this fridge swap and she said she'd get back to me when she figures out her dates. she's not on the DISboards, but i'd be willing to be the go-between person and get all the information to both sides. anyway, i just wanted to let you know that you may have another swapper in early december if needed. i told her if someone beats her to it then that's her loss!
