Hi Again :sunny:
For some reason it won't let me post a whole lot so here is my second week here. :earsgirl:
On monday after leave Wilderness lodge we check into a condo in bahama bay on the highway 27. So I will start the next day.

Tuesday. Renewing our vows at Bahama bay at 11am. Dinner at Cindys cstle 5.30pm. Hopefully a wishes cruise at 8.30pm.
Wednesday. Ohana breakfast with stitch...Water park and disney quest.
Thursday. Sea world.
Friday. Water park. and down town disney.
Saturday. Ds is 14 today. check into HRock hotel and tour universal with front of line pass. Dinner at city walk. possibly Nascar.
Sunday. Islands of adventure with FOLP. Check out and back to Bahama bay.
Monday. Pack and relax at BBAY leave for airport at 5pm.

The only thing that I can see being a potential problem is your Ohana dinner at 7PM. Does Wishes start at 8PM that night? Are you planning on watching it from the Polynesian? If it starts at 8 and you plan on being in MK, your dinner is going to have to be quick, and hope that you get seated right at 7. If you are going to watch it from the Poly, that might not be so bad, but still it doesn't give you time for a relaxing meal. Hope this helps.

Hi Tammi , thanks for the response. :sunny:
Because we have Ohana booked for a saturday night I think Spectro should be on at 9pm and wishes at 10 pm that night . This is only projected from historical hours though so I will check this when the august hrs come out.
I might possibly make the Adr for 6.30pm just in case it takes a while to be seated then we can hop on the manarail and hopefully be in the MK for 8.30 to wait for the 9pm parade. :Pinkbounc

Oh, ok. Then you should be fine. It all sounds great!

Looks pretty good to me. Staying at a Universal hotel is the only way to do US and IofA..........that folt pass is awesome! We did a vacation with both WDW and Universal for my son's 8th birthday, and it was too much for us. We felt undisneyed if you know what I mean. Since then, we've only done Disney, but are planning an only Universal trip staying at the Hard Rock next year on Spring Break.

I just wanted to say that I LOVE those tie dyed mickey shirts!!!! What a wonderful picture. Did you make those shirts or buy them somewhere???

I would love to have some matching shirts like that for our trip in June 2006!

I also think that the schedule for the wonderful vacation and special birthday is heavenly!!!! I just hope that I can schedule ours that well.

I notice you aren't planning to arrive at the Animal Kingdom until 10:30. The park's best ride--the safari, is best first thing in the morning. The animals are much more active. I would plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to park opening and head straight for the safari, then take in the other major rides, trails, etc.

Hi, Deidre...Yes I thought about arriving at opening for animal kingdom, as I plan to arrive at opening for the other parks....but I thought perhaps I better have at least one day that first week where we can have a lie in, and as we will be at AK thru to close with no break I thought we should arrive a bit later.

But if I think we are not too tired then I will try to get the troops there early! :earsgirl:

You might consider leaving for the AKL at 4pm, to beat the rush out at closing and to give yourself time to enjoy the hotel prior to dinner (maybe even move your dinner reservations up to 5:30). Disney is exhausting. When we were there in September, we found that we really needed either a long relaxing lunch with a bit of rest after or a very early dinner.

Your schedule seems full, with a lot of princess focus. Are DH and DS planning to attend the princess breakfast? Now that the pricing on that has gone up so much, I would probably not force the DS to attend (it might be a great time for father and son to go ride space mountain or other rides that the dd considers too scary).

And that would be my other piece of advice: Don't hesitate to break up into twos for several hours at a time so that each child can have plenty of age appropriate adventure (we have a 14 yr. old son, a 7 year old daughter and a 3 year old daughter).

Looks like such an exciting trip! If you find you want more time in another park the first week we have always found in the past that we could do everything we wanted to do at MGM in half a day. Our kids are a bit older now so we are expecting it to take a full day this year, and with your 13 year old that may be more the case, but depending on your interests and desire to repeat rides you may not end up needing two days. Have fun!

Make sure to allow plenty of time for busses as that is the transportation mode from WL. Sometimes they are very timely, and sometimes there is a long wait. Your restaurant choices look great. We love Chef Mickey's and have never had a bad experience in about 4 trips. Sci-Fi is good too...very unique experience. We absolutely love Whispering Canyon. Ohana is the only one that was not a great success to us and that is just because of the food seasonings (just not our cup of tea, although my wife did like it).
Plenty of rest stops in the plan come in handy, but you may not need all of them, just play it by ear.
DH and DS will need to find something to do during the tea party, but the princess meals should be enjoyed even by the boys, because the food is so good everywhere, and let's face it, princesses do need their princes.
Have a great time...it looks like you've planned well for it.

Deidre, its funny you should say that about the Cindys breakfast for Dh and Ds :earsboy: Because Dh and Ds are actually going out that Day to Kennedy Space Center whilst DD and I tour the MK...Iam undecided weather to bring Ds and Dh to the breakfast or not. :confused3
It would probably be easier if they both went straight to Kennedy from WL and DD and I boat over to MK by ourselves. But then again I would like Dh to see our dd with cindrella. I don't Know I have a few weeks left to decide. :cool1:

Ratfam, Thats really intersting to know about MGM...I have 2 days down for it and I was worried that might be not enough as there seems to be a lot of shows. So its good to know I'll probably get it all done in half that. :Pinkbounc

Magicman, Thanks for the info :sunny: Although I think we will probably car it over to MGM and AK and just boat it to MK. But I need to make sure I leave enough time to get to say the Poly from WL as that will involve a boat and the monarail. :wizard:

Hi..I've just edited my first post because I've made quite a few changes now the hours are out and I've made my ADRs. :cool1:
