Please, can someone please check about AP rates in January 2006?

Can't decide if I should get an AP either.

We want to go around Jan 8 through 15 or 16. I'm hoping to stay AKL (three nights), Boardwalk (two nights), GF (three nights or so). It's tough to do the best rate plan since we like to switch resorts, so that means three non-refundable deposits (and we like room to change our plans...).

Does anyone know what the AP rates are like during mid Jan 2006 at these resorts? Any concierge rates available? I was hoping for AKL concierge or GF concierge...

Still trying to decide if AAA with dining plan might be more cost effective. We'd only be using the AP passes for this trip, most likely.

As of right now the only way to book AP rates is through the best rate program. Typically the old fashioned call in rates for Oct-Dec would have been released by now and they haven't. They instead made you book 60+ days out instead of 120+ days.

I am beginning to think its best rate or nothing.

And as for discounts, its hard to judge because they could change the discount for next year. Last year it was a percentage off, this year its a flat dollar amount off of $75 for deluxe.

If you are only planning on using AP's for this trip you might do better off with AAA.

Any sweeties out there who can look up rates in mid January for AP? One adult, one child....approx Jan 7 through 15th for GF, AKL and BWI...concierge if avail...

ADD $ 912.20 for lagoon view

BWI concierge $3255.84
ADD $ 936.56 for deluxe

Ouch, these concierge rates are still around 400 a night. When we stayed AKL concierge (in value season) last time it was 277 per night. Anyone know what the standard rates are? We might split between a couple stays in standard and one in concierge. Was the GF concierge Main Building concierge or Sugar Loaf? Gosh, I wish so much we had the old system back! I hate putting anyone out...
