we are coming to Orlando for three weeks and December but due to the need to change accomodations will have to be out of one place by 10am and not in to other till 4pm. We had already planned a night at HRH for FOTL but would like to confirm.

1) That we will get FOTL on both the day we check in and the day we check out.

2) That although our room won't be available we will be able to leave our luggage early (9am) on check in day and leave it late (4pm) on check out day so that we can enjoy the parks without leaving the luggage at risk in the car.

thanks

Sue

We just stayed at the HRH last summer just for the FOTL . Go to the hotel desk and get your keys , the room number will not be on them but at least if you go to the park you will have the FOTL access. I did this as our room wasn't ready when we arrived at the hotel. Also they did hold our luggage for us. As for leaving I don't know if they will hold your luggage for you but I do believe that you can use the FOTL passes for the day you check out. Just ask to make sure. The room keys have dates on them and most ride attendents will look for the dates. Also join the Lowes club it is free and if you plan on staying there again they are pretty good with sometimes upgrading I have heard.

We had a great time at IOA/USF we stayed 5 days and will do it again soon just not this year. Off to see the mouse for a week :cool1: .

Yes, those things are both true.

So in our case we have purchased the 7 day pass. If we stay at HRH for one night can we really have FOTL option for 2 full park days? On the day you check out do you still have FOTL access for the full amount of time the park is open that day or is there a cut off point?

All day, both days.

damo....you really seem to know your stuff....I have another question for you. We have 7 days total. We will be at Universal for 2 - 2 1/2 days. It will be our first trip to Universal. The other 4 1/2 to 5 is for Disney. We did 7 days at Disney Dec '05. We are going to be there for 2 full days on May 5 (Saturday) and 6 (Sunday). We are already spending a small fortune coming from eastern Canada. I love the idea of FOTL, but it will add another $200 to our trip. Well we really need it at that time of the year? Do you think the Express pass might me good enough if we stay off site? Also do you think 2 days is enough for 1st timers? Thanks for your patience with the newbie questions.

We have been to Universal at the beginning of May and it is wonderful. The crowds are quite low and you should be fine. If you really feel it is crazy, you can always buy the express passes once you get there and not in advance. Where are you staying and how old are your kids? The Royal Pacific is $191/night for May 5 using CAA.

We have 4 night book at All Star Sports....then we have 3 nights reserved right now at Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista for $49 per night. We have a car reserved for 3 days as well. We have a 9 year old and our 15 yr old niece is coming with us also. We don't have access to CAA. My only concern is that we only have a limited amount of time and I don't want to stand in line all day waiting to get on a ride. If I can convince my wife staying on site is worth it ....well you never know she might go for it.

I think you will be fine. Just get to the parks at opening and you should have a great time!
