I can't stand Donald. He is the most arrogant person I have ever seen in my life. I think he actually thinks the world revolves around him. It is unbelievable how ignorant and childish he is. You'd think with all that money he could have bought himself a little class and maybe half a brain.

I thought Rosie was funny. Maybe it was because I agreed with what she said.

As I said before, they're definitely on the same level.

She's been on vacation for two weeks and I don't think she has said to much of anything during that time, while Donald on the other hand has had to say something on every talk show he has been on, which unfortunately has been way to many. I happened to catch him on David Letterman the other night and the first words out of his mouth were about Rosie, he needs to get a life and do something with that so called hair of his! I don't agree with everything Rosie says or does, but I side with her on this one!

Oh she called him the Comb-over Bunny(ala Energizer bunny) because he keeps going and going. He on the other hand used words like LOSER/SLOB/FAT/FAILURE/UGLY/DEGENERATE/ETC... and that is not even getting into the lesbian innuendos he used.

Yes she should be the bigger person and let it go, but it is nowhere near the same level in my eyes.

She does need to be the bigger person and let it go, but I agree with her. At least she is on her own show saying these things and not going to every tv show and radio show she can. He has insulted half of the world with him harping on the fact that she is overweight. insinuating that she is a bad person just because she is a lesbian (degenerate) is pretty crappy too.
He is a horrible horrible man. Rosie may not have a lifestyle that everyone agrees with but she loves her children is raising them along with Kelli and not letting other people do the job. He prides himself on never changing a diaper and letting his wife handle all child duties. What a jerk. She is not being near as HORRIBLE as he is.

I agree that Donald is totally off-base. Rosie said some inappropriate things in the beginning. But, my goodness. Donald took it way too low. I think he is just intimidated by strong women. When Rosie criticized him, he blew his top because he just doesn't know how to respond to strong women. What a jerk!

She has it written in her contract that she gets her kids school breaks/vacations off.

I think ABC and Barbara walters knew exactly what they were doing when they hired her. BW usually walks the PC line on her show, but has gone out of her way to deny what DT said and let everyone know she does not regret hiring Rosie. My opinion is that if DT had not made those statements about what BW "said" she would have come out and talked about her friend DT and walked that line again.

And frankly, I don't really get why his panties are in such a twist. She's not the first person to make the mistake about his banruptcy or to make comments about his hair. That hair has been a staple of his publicity, his outrage now is ridiculous.

I agree - though I felt that way from the start. Rosie didn't say anything others haven't said, while he took it to threats on her family - a totally different level of insults IMO. The Donald is only putting on a show for one reason - ratings for his show.

Well Donalds show garnered its poorest ratings for the season premiere yet, it was third in its timeslot(not great),and it was behind even a repeat of the Fox cartoon "Family Guy.

so i've always loved Rosie O'Donnel, anyway. and i love that she just says what she wants, and doesn't really care what anyone really thinks about her. i LOVE it!! more people should be like that. say what you feel, don't feel bad about "offending" people, because i'm sure they won't feel bad about doing it to you.

and this whole crap with Donald Trump is just stupid. he's making an idiot of himself in many ways. he's got nothing better to do than sit there and make rude remarks to Rosie. absurd. i didn't even think he would watch The View. i think he would be "too good" for that. but it's a good way for HIM to get publicity for himself, don't you think?

I'm not really sure what he expected after he put her in a spotlight - he had to realize the possibility that someone may rise to the top and become a celeb due to their exposure from the show...he benefited from the public taking a liking to her, but she wasn't supposed to?

I liked Carolyn and I think she did well maintaining her professionalism.
