We are going to stay at Pop Century from August 10 until the 13th, leave for a non-Disney cruise and then return to P.C. from August 18th thru the 21st. We plan to buy the refillable mugs and reuse them on our second trip. Since we'll be staying such a short time each visit, will this really be so bad? I know we should buy new ones each visit--and we've never done this before--but are we really so terrible? The second tripette, we'll be on the Dining Plan, but since it will be August, we need to drink a lot.

Personally, I see no problem (but not everyone will think that way) due to the way you have set up your vacation.

You could always set your mind at ease and ask the 2nd resort, since if you're buying them at Pop, it won't matter on that. I would hate to see them say no, seeing how much money you will be spending on and at Disney.

How big is the party you are traveling with? If it's 4 folks, why not get 2 from each resort and use them all at both resorts?

Regardless, if you went with the 2nd plan, if someone sees you who doesn't approve, they will talk about it, I'm sure.

You need to do what is best for you and your group and not by what strangers think or say. I surely won't be policing or making moral judgements on anyone when I'm there.

I will admit, we did contemplate taking our mugs back this year when we go to POR b/c we stayed at POFQ last year and they are the same mug. However, we really use them alot so it is better just to get new ones. Besides my DH said I was being cheap

Personally I don't care if you bring a mug from Universial (I'm sorry if that is a curse word around here) and use it at Disney but Oh My are you going to get flamed by the Dis moral police for this.

I would ask a CM. I can't imagine why this would be a problem. I notice you are staying at POP both times so I would certainly use them. It is the same trip with a cruise in between.

Brutally honest, are you sure. Can you handle the truth?

Most everyone that asks these questions knows the official policy. And if they don't someone is always willing to share it.

They also know it is not enforced. You will not be handcuffed by Sheriff Goofy and dragged out of the Food Court. It is is honor code.

So do you want the official policy, the answer is no.

Or you do you want support to do as you please, if so you will find plenty of that here.

Of COURSE there is nothing wrong with that. Youre only leaving for 5 days!!! Who would want to buy another mug 5 days later? If anyone says this is wrong they are really silly.

I believe that because on another thread a while back someone told me since I held DS back in pre-school and now he is a grade behind he is going to drop out of school one day and end up in jail.
