We will be coming WD and staying in POFQ in December 2-8. This is my problem. My youngest DD has a seizure disorder and when she is over stimulated or excessively tired (take your pick as to which will be the culprit at Disney), she has seizures in her sleep. I am so concerned about the height level of the beds at FQ, if she were to have a seizure in her sleep I am concerned about her falling out of the bed and then we need to worry about injuries or worse. This is what we have attempted to do, see if FQ will give us a King Size room, we will bring air mattresses for our DD's to sleep in which will put DD on a lower level in the event of a seizure, thus eliminating the height issue. This is where the question comes in, AAA called Special Accomodations for us and were told that it was impossible to do this for Fire Codes. Does anyone know of any fire codes or any rules that Disney has. I will sign any paperwork that they need to eliminate their liability and I can provide physician documentation that states her limit on height levels for sleeping arrangements. If anyone has any insight please respond.
