1) I was graciously invited to visit with "SouthAlabama5er", today at their campsite.
2) A pleasant and VERY friendly visit with more DISboard Camping members !!!!!!!
3) I was presented with PERSONALIZED beer-can cozies made by Mrs-SouthAlabama5er, and they were well appreciated. (Thanks, "A")
. . . and WHAT A TREAT !!!
4) Of course Humphrey (the Patron Saint, or rather "Patron Bear" of WL/FW) gave me his Yogi Pic-i-Nic Basket filled with goodies.
. . . it was filled with cold Rotisserie chicken and potato salad to enjoy after a hot day at the parks *
. . . it was filled with Disney-themed gifts/goodies
5) A nice afternoon with new DIS-friends !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* I am told by MrsRustyScupper the chicken and potato salad recipes were from old Family recipes. We don't know WHO the family was or HOW old they were, but we are sure they were both somebody's family and probably old.

Meeting Scupper is always a highlight on a visit to the Fort. My oldest still talks about it and our gifts on that visit are displayed on my bookshelf in my home office.

Thank you Rusty Scupper for taking time out of your day to come by and visit with us, we enjoyed you company very much, also enjoyed our conversations about Disney, sail boats, DISboards, and so on. We wanted to thank you again for the rotisserie chicken and potato salad, and the gifts. After a long day in the park it was nice to have a nice supper waiting at the camper. Spending some time with Rusty was the highlight to out trip!

Going to put Meeting the famous RustyScupper on our Halloween to do list. We'll be at The World a few days next week but not at the Fort this trip.

Hey @Flametamr ......... maybe we can tag team MrRustyScupper on our October trip. That would definitely make a trip to the Fort at Halloween even more special. We need to hatch plan to lure him out. What do you think?????

I will be there Saturday and check out Halloween. Figured I would pull the rv to overflow lot and do the parade and let the trick or treat and head home.

JETS70 that sounds like a great idea. Hopefully if I get a cart we can track him down or arrange an evening visit at one our sites. mich1073 I like the way you think. We planned our trip so we check out on Nov 1st which also is the day our AP's expire unless I decide to renew them.

1) OK, just let me know dates well ahead on time, and send me a PM as to whom/whom in each family will be coming to The Fort.
2) I do need to plan for "the event".
3) Let's not overly build the enthusiasm and increase the anticipation.
4) I am just your average super-hero and all-around-great-guy.

Not to mention he's one of the most humble and modest persons you'll ever meet...
