Pleakley statue removed?

For the last few years, I have noticed an Agent Pleakley statue in the area between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. (Pleakley is the green alien from the "Lilo and Stitch series.")

However, I was in the MK last month and wasn't able to find him. Instead it appeared there was some giant water fountain in his place. I'm not really a L&S megafan but there was something I really liked about that statue. He had an upbeat expression and just seemed to fit right in with the happy nature of the MK and Tomorrowland. I hope I just overlooked him and he's still there.

Was I just "lost" and didn't look for him in the right place or did they take him away?

I hope it's still there! We love the Pleakly statue and look forward to getting a picture of it on our trips.

It was there in May when I was there.

It was there in December - maybe ask a CM. I remember it being hard to find as well.

I hope its still there for our Sept. trip. We are mega Lilo & Stitch fans and love to see anything Stitch related.

We were there from May 28th-June 1st and he was there!

We LOVE Lilo and Stitch and Pleakley is DD's and I favorite!!

Are you talking about the rolling globe water fountain? If so, yes that is around the corner from the pleakley statue and you were probably just turned around

Pleakley is by the DVC booth (hence his vacation attire!)

For Trivia buffs, the fountain is the former Tomorrowland station for the Skyway, an aerial cable-car ride that went from Tomorrowland to Fantasyland from the time the park opened until it closed in 1999.

Ahh, that explains his vacation attire, I never made that connection, thanks for the info

So it seems like he is still there and I just overlooked him. It's unlikely he would have been moved from June 1st (as someone mentioned) to when I was there which was about a week later.

Thanks for all the info guys, and hopefully someone will provide further confirmation that he was still there since like June 10th. I really hope he is, since he's one more of those "I'm in Disney" reminders

We were there in May and saw Pleakney. DD 5 thought it was real.

Hello, I'm sad to say that he is gone. I was there today, you can see the outline of his feet where he stood. Sorry!
