Plaza Restaurant

I will be at Magic Kingdom on October 10 for my son's 10th birthday. There will be a total of 6 of us on a budget. I was wondering if the Plaza Restaurant has the birthday cupcakes I have read about other places having. Also do they have a kids menu? My kids are 6,8,9,and the birthday boy will be 11. There is no way the kids would be able to eat an adult size meal and as far as sharing on goes they would have a hard time agreeing on something to share. Any other ideas for a special birthday would be apreciated as well.
