It is small, noisy, and crowded, can have long waits, and the food is marginally better than counter service but with better desserts. A poor use of DDP credits (you are charged a table service credit though the Plaza barely qualifies, truly). Sandwiches and ice cream. Good but not great. We'd rather do Liberty Tree where you can get full meals from a menu besides just sandwiches. Or go to Columbia Harbour House, which is almost as good (though not the desserts).

We ate the Plaza years ago and had a great meal. We all loved our food and the atmosphere was relaxing. I would definitely eat there again.

If you want to try something else, I suggest the Kona Cafe. The food at Kona is great, but it can get pretty loud since it's basically in the lobby of the Poly.

My family and I had lunch there a few years ago and while there was nothing wrong with the food and etc, we haven't been back there because once enough since we wanted to try it and see what it was like.

Looks like I'm in the minority here but DH and I hated The Plaza, will never go back. Our server was inattentive and rude, my sandwich was soggy, DH's soup was awful and our soda tasted like chemicals. I would definetly consider going to Kona Cafe instead. The food there is way better!

It was perfectly fine, but nothing special. Just regular sandwiches, like something I'd get at an average deli. I wouldn't waste a TS credit on it, both due to lack of value and lack of oomph. If I didn't want to waste time out of MK even on a monorail meal, I'd just pay OOP at Plaza or counter service that night. Then I'd combine that TS credit with another days for a signature dining. But that's just me

I have to say that while I think the old-timey decor is cute, the place is loud and those chairs are evil. I swear that wire back was just aiming for my kidney the whole time.

We LOVE the Plaza. It's one of our absolute favorites! They have great food and a wonderful atmosphere. I LOVE their club sandwich. I know it's just a club sandwich, but it tastes better there than anywhere else! They also have great fries and homemade chips.

The food at The Plaza is fantastic!!!! THAT is what makes good use of a credit for me!! The sandwiches are huge, fries are the best in WDW, and the ice cream desserts are huge and scrumptious!!! Keep The Plaza - I wouldn't want to leave the park on my one and only MK day!!!!

Totally agree with the above. The Plaza is a great use of our dining credits because the food is wonderful. I have NO problem using my TS credit for a fabulous Reuben Sandwich with yummy, hot, crispy steak fries then top it all off with a wonderful, sinfully yummy, HUGE brownie sundae.
Not to mention the HUGE *value* of staying in the park when you have limited time @ MK.

We always enjoy our meals at The Plaza. As others have said, it is noisy, small, and crowded. But the food and desserts are delicious.
