We just got back from Disneyland yesterday (11/15). While we were there, I heard a woman talking to her daughter about the Princess Breakfast. We had done the one at Epcot back in June and loved it!! I asked the woman about it and as soon as we got back to our hotel (GC) I went to the guest services counter and was able to make a PS for the very next morning.
I have to say we were a bit dissapointed. We have been to numerous character breakfasts though the years and this one was the most disappointing. We waited at our table for the princesses to come to us but so parents were having their children run up to the princesses in the middle of the restaurant that some never made it to our table.
Mary Poppins was the only character to tell the children to be seated and she'd make it around to all the tables. And she did! Loved her!!
We were there for over an hour and a half and still hadn't seen Belle and Mulan. Belle was bombarded by so many children in the middle of the restaurant. No one stayed in their seats. We were waiting for Belle to come over and then a man went up to her and asked her to come to the tables outside. And she did.
As we were leaving we asked a manager if Belle could come over for a picture with my daughter. She's her favorite. Then my son started to get upset because Mulan never made it to our table and she was the only one he wanted to see. We finally had to go back in the restaurant and sit back at our table which had already been cleared and wait 20 more minutes for Mulan to come around. It seemed very unorganized. I hope as time goes on they get it figured out. To us, it was not worth $70+ for our family of 4.
Advice: You seat yourselves so do not sit far back in the restaurant. Sit at the tables up front in the middle of the restaurant closest to the food area. Those tables got the most interaction with the princesses. Beast doesn't go to the tables so you have to get up to see him. He stood right at those front tables.
A great place to see the princesses (besides the castle) was inside the Animation Studio building in DCA. We saw Mary Poppins, Hercules, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Mickey Mouse. The wait times there were minimum.
