Plaza Inn - Fried Chicken

Is it possible to get only breast(s) with the Fried Chicken Meal at the Plaza? Believe it or not in my uncountable trips to Disneyland, I have never tried the fried chicken. My issue is that I only eat Breast Meat.

Can you get just only ONE breast piece for less money?

Yep, you can ask for 2 breasts. I think they charge a bit extra, but worth it if you are a breast meat person!

It would be a breast with the wing attached, but just ask whoever is doling out the food for just the white meat...they're pretty accommodating. All you'd be passing up is a thigh piece, I think.

Yes not only is it possible to get that done, but also botox and collagen injections. lol
But seriously, yes you may request only chicken breasts, but I believe there will be a small extra charge for it. Don't remember the cost right off though. lol......

I remember once they asked me at the counter if it would be OK if they gave me only white meat, maybe they were low on dark or something. I don't think they charged extra for it but that was over 2 years ago.

Yep, it's also possible to just get chicken and/or sides a la carte. Last time I ordered (summer 2015) one full plate and a small plate with a breast and side of potatoes to share since my party didn't want two full plates.

I'll say this, the legs and the thighs taste better than the breast. But I like getting more of that flavored crust per bite of meat. With the breast meat, you get more meat and less of that yummy flavor per bite.

I can tell you one thing they wont do and that is trade the green beans for another piece of chicken (but they will trade them for more mashed potatoes).

You get a breast, a thigh and a leg.

How many pieces does the kids meal come with? That might be a better option. Or find someone to split with. DH once asked for an extra biscuit, but didn't know about the extra fee. The nice person behind him offered to give him her biscuit because she didn't want it. The CM was fine with that, so everyone was happy. Win Win. If you don't want to keep the extra piece for yourself, maybe someone else in line would want it?

They won't discount it. I usually tell them I just want two pieces because I cannot finish three, and they tell me that it's the same price. I tell them no problem, I just don't want to waste the food.

The kids meal comes with a baked drumsticks, not sure a Fried Chicken breast is even an option. I love getting kids meals. I have gotten the pasta kids meal here many times (sometimes with an added side salad, sometimes not).
