Plaza Inn during EMMH?

My mother and I will be spending 1 day at DL/CA on October 1st. We will be staying off property and not able to take advantage of EMMH (which start at 7am). Park opens fully at 8am...and I am considering a 7:10 AM Plaza Inn breakfast reservation in order to get in the park earlier. Would this be worth it? My thinking is that we have to eat anyway and this way we can skip the line outside the turnstiles as well as not wasting the very important first few hours after park opening eating somewhere, we will hopefully be done eating by 8 at the latest. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

This sounds like a great plan! Saturday October 1 is part of Gay Days weekend so it will likely be a busy day and you'll want to take advantage of those first few slower park hours.

We always do a 710 on an MM day at Plaza! We usually finish right about 8 and head to New Orleans Square for Pirates!!!
