Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

Hey guys, I just went back to WDW in early January, and while in the Magic Kingdom some friends and I went to the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street. I had the most delicious peppermint ice cream...I was wondering if it's a flavor that's only available around the holidays?

Also, I know that the Plaza is sponsored by Edy's Grand...does Edy's sell their peppermint ice cream year round?

That has to be the same place we went to Aug '07 for my birthday. Both my husband and I got the peppermint chip ice cream. It was just the regular green ice cream with the chocolate chip flakes in it; not sure if they have a separate peppermint flavor. However, I do have to say I was wearing my birthday button and before I knew it they handed over my cone with whipped cream and a cherry on top as well as chocolate discs stuck into the side to look like Mickey ears! Lucky me!
