is there a buffet in the plaza gardens buffet other than the tea party?

Yes there is. I think Plaza Gardens only serves a buffet.

Indeed this is where we ate one evening recently and there was no tea party going on.

I have to say we were just a little disappointed with Plaza Gardens. It looks so lovely from outside and I'm sure on a quiet day it's lovely inside too, but when we were there there were uncleared tables and dirty floors. Our waiter was really doing his best but seemed to have too much to do. The food was OK, no better, no worse. The good stuff was fresh fruit, bread, cheese, vegetables, desserts. The not so good was the nuggets, sausages, pizza, lasagne.

I suppose for the price [20 euros per person] for an all-you-can-eat buffet at the Magic Kingdom you can't expect too much. I wouldn't put anyone off going there, just be aware it's not 5 star.

We are going to give Plaza Gardens another try on our trip in a few weeks. The last time we went, the quality of the food was good and there was a really varied selection available, but what let it down was the service - it was almost non-existant!

After being shown to our table, we sat waiting for a few minutes to see if we could order drinks as we were both quite thirsty. After not seeing any staff near our table during that time, I decided to just go up to the buffet and fill my plate (which itself takes a few minutes) and then when I came back, my wife took her turn doing the same. We then started eating and only when we were both almost finished, we finally found someone to take our drinks order. It took another ten minutes to actually get the drinks and even then, they forgot one of them. They apologised and said it would be coming soon, but despite going up to the buffet a second time and eating that food, it still never arrived (or if it did, it was after we'd paid and left).

So here's hoping that our second visit will still have the good food, but will also have better service!
