My son is obsessed with Pokemon Go. I don't really understand the game, but are Universal Hotels good for playing - do they have "gyms", "pokestops", etc? Or do they prohibit this at hotels because it's private property?

I'm not a fan so no idea if it is allowed

Have not read any threads if it is in that area

I was there with someone who plays. Apparently there are a lot of characters and stops around the hotels and parks. I do not play.

There's a great article on another site showing Pokemon locations all over citywalk and both parks- so I know it can be played there, even in the parking garage. It's the hotel properties I'm not sure about.

The lobbies of hotels are open to the public, right? Like anyone can go there to eat. You'll be fine. We play all the time. Amusement parks are great for at least poke stops and gyms. :).

I have no idea how the game works but she was out finding them in the piazza at PBR while we were there.

This is all good to know since my whole family plays and we will be there the end of October.

My dd's play and found lots this past week weekend. They said the boat ride was packed every time and the waiter at Bubba Gumps told them where more good spots and gyms were around citywalk!
