you may need to calibrate your monitor as well with calibration software
as far as the original, it depends on what you were going for. you didn't mention what software you used but if you used some of the "edgy" software it makes it look kind of like that although the one i have usually edge darkens the whole thing and this looks more lightened. i might like it better if it was edge lightened the whole way around. it looks like the bottom is but not the top. that would make it look more like a vignette around the photo instead of overexposed on the bottom. did you do edge lightening then cropped it? that could cut off the top edge lightening and make it look like that
i actually like the white cast better than the yellow but that's just mho. i like the reflections and just the basic two colors. you could crop it a little lower but if you do more edge lightening it might make it to low. i might crop off some on the left if you were going to crop at all to make it a little off center and might give the illusion of drifting more than with it centered. all in all i like it though
