This is one attraction we have always walked by, obviously this year we will be stopping :goodvibes but what is this attraction, tell all please.......

If its the one im thinking of its at MGM :confused3

Blue Bear & Co are on a stage and you all sit on the floor while they tell a story and sing a few songs, the children get up and dance around a bit( in Josephs case with a bit of help from Mummy or Daddy)
Its quite sweet really my DDs were 7&9 at the time,a bit old really but they still enjoyed it,DD 9 felt a bit silly surrounded by 2 year olds jumping up and down.

:)

Playhouse Disney is a Live show at MGM featuring characters from the various TV programmes on PD channel.

Mainly 'Bear In The Big Blue House', and also 'Rolie Polie Olie' and others.

Mummy....oops sorry I mean Joseph ;) likes Jo Jo's Circus :)

Do Jo Jo & Co make an appearance or do they just stick to the area outside Millionaire on Mickey Avenue??

Another Jo Jo fan - I'd like to know the answer to that as well (for DS's benefit, you understand!)

Last year my DD(9) loved watching the little ones faces whilst they were watching the show - she joined in with all the songs - but says it was so that she wasn't the odd one out!! We are going to take other DD(20) to watch the show - don't suppose she will be too impressed! :rotfl2:

DH fell asleep against the wall at the back of the theatre!

This is a must do with younger children!

My DDs absolutely adore this show. Because you all sit on the floor (not so good for me I have to say as I ended up with terrible cramp :rotfl2: ), the children get up and dance, jump around, sing along and really get into it. It is really interactive for them. It has a particular charm of its own and although the show is great I also really liked seeing all the children getting so caught up in the whole thing!

We haven't been since December 04 and I know they have made changes so Jojo may now be there, but I don't know. He wasn't in Dec 04

The queue area is uncovered for the most part so we have always waited until the doors opened to admit guests and then just joined the back of the queue - we've always got into the same show with that tactic (won't work at peak times though maybe) but obviously end up with a seat at the back. That's not such a bad thing though :) It's easy to see no matter where you are sat, and if someone tall ends up in front of you you can just shuffle along a bit.

I believe that JoJo's Circus replaced either Stanley or Rolie Polie Olie. We did Playhouse Disney the first year we went but missed it out last year. I agree with the others, though, it's an absolute must for those with young 'uns. We did feel a bit strange being the only adults in there without kids, especially when we were singing along to the Goodbye Song from Bear louder than most of the kids

I think the line-up now is Bear and co, Winnie the Pooh and friends and JoJo's Circus plus another which is either Stanley or Rolie Polie Olie.

If you like Bear IBBH then you might like to know that round about this time of year he does a UK tour...think there is one again this year...I can recommend it !!! :thumbsup2

Hi There, My kids LOVE this - they are 1 and 3. We have been loads of times, its a MUST for preschoolers and a highlight of my boys trips. I have my eldest dancing at the show when he was 18 months old on video and its was so cute!
The show starts with bear and friends singing - they get all the kids up dancing, and Tutter is too shy to dance (I think) and they travel through the sets of Book Of Pooh, Stanley and JoJos circus (which erect on stage) to get Tutter dancing, then at the end its back to bear and friends, where all the kids (but mostly parents!) all join in singing "the goodbye song" with Luna. Its great - take your video camera to tape your kids faces, and another tip is to get them to watch all these shows before you go, they enjoy it even more!
Hope this helps
Jo x :)

Hi

The show is really great especially for youngsters. My lo's loved it we went 4 times. Jo Jo isnt in the show unfortunately. We managed to see Jo Jo and Galieth at Mickeys Avenue beside Donald Duck.

The show was Bear, Winnie The Pooh, Stanley and Rolie Polie Ollie. You all sit on the floor, which can give you cramp or back ache, but other than its excellent. I love Bear anyway.

DD loves this show, JO JO is there it replaced rolie polie.

It starts with Bear in the big blue house.

You find yourself singing along i know i do, IT IS A MUST!!!! :rotfl2:

You can use your camera or camcorder.

It is priceless to see kids faces light up and they start to dance, then Tigger invites then to bounce.

We always see it at least twice.

From all these reports I think we better take DS when we are there, it sounds like he would really enjoy it :thumbsup2
