The Playhouse Disney Live! on Tour show is coming to our area in March. Has anyone seen it and felt it was worth the money? We have a 5 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. They both love Disney and watch Playhouse Disney on TV regularly. We've been going to WDW every year, but with the economy down, it doesn't look like we'll make it this year. :sad2:  But I was thinking that this show could be a cheaper way to get our Disney fix.

Anxious to hear your reviews of the show! TIA

I took my 5 year old last year and she loved it. It was pretty cute. I would recommend it, especially if your kids love playhouse disney.

I took my then 2 year old DD in November, and she had the BEST time! She danced and sung and carried on, even though she was tired from not taking a nap. It was live action, with some puppets which could be a little off-putting to some kidlets, but I would do it again in a heartbeat (even though it's a little pricey).

That said, beware the souveniers. They were God-awful expensive, even compared to the park! (Of course we had to get something, so we ended up with the $20 Little Einsteins conductor's wand AND the Handy Manny hat with cotton candy!)

We didn't care for the show and thought that the Disney on Ice productions we have seen have been much better (and the tix were cheaper).

The Little Einsteins are played by real people and just didn't look anything like the characters. My 2 year old was bored out of his mind at that part. Handy Manny was also a real face character, and was better but still not the same. I also thought the "host" was in it way too much.

My 2 year old had an OK time, but us adults didn't care for it at all and felt it was a waste of money. We have never felt that way with the Disney on Ice shows.

My daughter was almost 18 months when we went and she loved it all except for the Little Einsteins. As the PP said they were realy people and she just wasn't making the connection. However, she did love Rocket. Overall, she really enjoyed it.

I took my 18 month and he loved it! He was totally mesmerized through the majority of the show. It did get a little long for him though, even with the intermission. I'd do it again though.
