Playhouse Disney Live is in a neighboring town on March 1. Since we're going to WDW in May I thought it might be a good "appetizer" for my 3 y.o. DS. If anyone has been with a child that age, what did they think?

DS LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the Little Einsteins on TV so I think he'd like this. But it is a 45 minute drive and tickets and parking would add up to about $100 so it needs to be worth it.

We took our Disney-loving DD3 last year when she was 2.5 or so. She loved it! Just prepare yourself - it's A LOT shorter than I expected, maybe an hour, with one intermission. DD love the Einsteins, although, prepare again, they lip sync all the speaking and songs. Not a big deal, but we expected more like a "stage show" not live-action cartooning (I guess that's what you'd call it...) we sprung for the orch. pit seating, so were in the 3rd row, so that may not be as apparent when you don't sit that close, I don't know. We drove an hour and a half, and I would do it again, so I'd call it a good deal. Some singing and dancing for the kids, and, above all else, the BIG CHEESE himself is there for the end. I say go for it. Oh yeah, one more thing, be prepared for the massive marketing souvenier sales in the lobby...it wouldn't be Disney without all that either...

We went in early December 2007. IT was very cute, and if your kid is into all the playhouse Disney characters, it's worth it. I'm not sure who had more fun at our show, the kids, or the parents! I second the mass marketing spree in the lobby.....we walked out with one $20 trumpet that I couldn't talk DS out of, at least he's still playing with it!!

We went late last year with our 4 and 8 yr old and they loved it. I LOVED it we sang along with everything. The man sitting in front of is told my husband that his wife must love Disney cause his kids didn't even know all the songs lol My husband just laughed and said u don't know the gist of it. I acted like I didn't hear a thing lol

We took our ds this past fall. He was about 1.5 at the time. He LOVED it!! He was staring in awe the whole time:-) It was worth it just to see the expression on his face.

We ttok our DD 2 1/2 in the fall and thought the show was pretty corny! Not half as good as the live shows that Disney has in the parks everyday. The characters are real people without the masks and look nothing like the Playhouse Disney characters that are at DHS. Tickets were expensive considering the show was only an hour long. We were pretty disappointed.
