Playhouse Disney Dance Party????

I've heard about this on another thread. We went to an EMH at DHS back in January and never saw this. Then again we just aimed for TSM at rope drop. Is the playhouse dance party new??? Who all dances and where?

The Playhouse Disney Dance Party is ONLY held during EVENING Extra Magic Hours.it takes place in the Playhouse Disney Live! soundstage located in the Animation Courtyard.The Characters dancing can vary form EEMH to EEMH.

So the Dance Party is still an EMH activity at Hollywood Studios. I asked at guest relations today and they looked at me like I had 10 heads. The only reason we are going is for the Dance Party...my 4 yo daughter has been begging to go back to the Dance Party.

During my CP I worked a couple of dance parties.
Yes they do only happen during EMH hours.

The ones I worked were usually at Studios. Let's see Minnie, Mickey, Jojo and Goliath were there. I can't remember if Goofy or Donald were there. And it was located where The Disney Live stage show is during the day.

Essentially what it is is that there is a DJ, sometimes a balloon animal maker and the characters. And you just dance around.
Very Simple...lots of people. Sometimes a little scary for the characters, but everyone has a lot of fun.

Its mostly targeted for little kids, but even big kids (and much much older kids) can get a kick out of dancing with the characters.
