Well, with only 3 weeks to go, my youngest son (3)says he really wants to eat with the Little Einsteins! My daughter (22 months) would probably love this too! I did not make this ADR because I thought the kids would like Sci-Fi, which I already have schedules for lunch! Do you think I should try to switch? How is the Play N Dine?
Thanks!

The food is average Disney Buffet. The character interaction is AWESOME. We went last year with DD, then 3.5 and DS 23 months, and they both loved it. Every 20 minutes or so, the characters stopped working the tables and a host would play music, sing and dance with the kids. My DS was a little shy at first, but Goliath came over to us and held out his hand, DS took it and they went onto the dance floor together. Goliath dance while holding DS's hand the hold time.

Thanks! I think I will try to switch ADR's! I hope they have something left!

we did this last November. 8:05 am reservation. our half of the restaurant was maybe 1/4 full, so plenty of character time at our table. Our DD had a blast. In fact - just watched the home movie/photo collection last night. That was definitely a good experience. We thought the food was fine too. It didn't blow us away - but it was good and we ate plenty. Definitely a fun stop.

Good luck with the ADR - have a great trip!

we also LOVED this option and found it not to be fully booked because older kids lose interest ....DD6 has been a number of times and loved the great chara interaction and the dancing with CMs -very cute and video friendly:lmao:
Food is Disney buffet(at its finest:rotfl2: ) we found it to be yummy, something for everyone!!!;)

Madison is now 6 and we didnt book it this Nov. as she has outgrown jojo:rolleyes1 ...sad but true........

Id def go back, no question, make sure to bring your cameras though, the cute factor rating is HIGH :cheer2: :yay:

My ds4 loved this breakfast. He loves Jo Jo and Goliath. It was amazing to see him light up when they were with him. I don't even remember the food. I was into the interarction of my son and the characters. If your kids are fans of these characters I highly recommend it.

I agree. My kids LOVE it. The characters do a great job. June is our favorite. :)
Although some people don't care for H & V, we've always thought that the food was fresh and tasty. I like the salmon, spoon bread and salads the best. :thumbsup2 Go into it knowing that the dining room can be crowded and noisy (because it's set up like an old-time cafeteria) and you won't be surprised.

Good luck and have a nice trip. :goodvibes

We did the breakfast last February and really loved it, including the food. It was quite good! We had a blast with the characters and were able to spend plenty of time with them!

yay!!:cool1: I got an early breakfast reservation! My kids are jumping up and down. I was also able to switch the Sci-Fi to an early dinner, so we are still eating there too! Good day!:cloud9:

Dinner was disgusting, that is one place that we will never give a second chance. I have heard great things about the breakfast tho

We took my DS (3) on 10/10/08. food was good, per my standard. Leo and June both made it my table 3 times each. Which was nice, but Juen and Goliath only made it once.

Be prepared to wait. They do a lot of singing, dancing, and child parades. So, it does take a while for the characters to make their rounds.

I'm glad you got a ressie! I think it was the best character meal we had! The interaction there is really great! Enjoy!

Thanks!! We were able to get an 8:20 ressie and the kids are really excited! However, I'm trying to figure out my Toy Story Mania strategy because the breakfast might go past 9! Anyone have any tips/ideas:confused3 Do you think we would get into the breakfast early if we got there around 8??

We ate here this week for lunch. My 3 year old really liked it. The characters we saw were Leo and Junie, JoJo and Goliath. The did a lot of interacting with the kids. The food tasted good. Not much for kids, but it was ok. As far as Toy Story, it was broken the day we were there and never opened! Better luck to you.

We are doing it too for breakfast and my kids are very excited. I figure if rope drop happens while we are in the restaurant either DH or I will go out and get some Fastpasses for TSM (DS is a HUGE Buzz and Woody fan) while the rest of us enjoy the breakfast/show and then return back to us to finish up- H&V will just have to bear with us.... You could always try something like that.

We HATED it! The food was gross and there was too much going on. In the midst of the choas, only 2 characters ever made their way to our table and we were there for well over an hour. My girls were upset that they didn't get to meet JoJo and Leo and they were hungry when we left because it was too loud and busy for them to eat. We'll never go here again.

This is the only character meal that we dislike!
