Play & Dine @ Hollywood & Vine

My DD was 6 last year when we went on our 1st trip and we did Play & Dine and she loved it. She asked if we could do it again this trip and she will be 7. Do you think she is a little old for this Character Meal? I thought she was a little old last trip but it was her first time, so I said what the heck? This time, I just don't know??? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Since she has asked for it, I would try to do it. And really, 7 isn't that old - I just think that in our society we push them into being "big kids" too soon, but that's just a particular bias of mine!

I'm not trying to push her into a big kid by any means, there was just really young children there last year and not too many of her age group. If I could keep her little forever, believe me I would!! I guess your right though, if she asked for it, why not!! She must have not felt uncomfortable with the age group she was with, right!! Thanks

was that the only character meal you went to? if yes ask her if she would like to meet any other characters at breakfast. there are lots of them. Maybe she would be interested in the princess bk in Norway. two of my girls loved the ohana breakfast with lilo and stich last summer and they were 7 and 8 then.

I love this character meal, myself...and I'm almost 32. My dd is 6 and my ds is 2. We've gone to this breakfast 3 times already and we are going yet one more time in July. The characters spent so much time with us and my ds is at a point he just loves Little Einsteins...that it is worth it...AND, we get to actually eat breakfast!

LOL. I say, if she wants to go, take her. But, also know there are several other character meals all over. Chef Mickey's breakfast is great. 4-5 characters come around and the food is the same as Hollywood and Vine.

No, it was her 1st trip and celebrating her birthday!! We did Garden Grill, Play & Dine, CRT, Crystal Palace, Tusker House and we even did My Princess Perfect Tea Party on her birthday!!! This year we are doing Tusker House, T-Rex, Crystal Palace, Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway, Whispering Canyon, Play & Dine and Chef Mickey's! I had put everything on paper and needed one more Character Meal and Play & Dine is the one she chose. I actually suggested Ohana, but she said no, she really doesn't care for Stitch that much. I guess we'll just do Play & Dine, it's all about the kids anyway, right!!!
