I am realizing how many rides DD is going to have to sit out due to height requirements and I know she’ll be bummed because she’s a dare devil! Are there any playground type areas in DL or DCA like there are in WDW? Or splash pad type things? I’ll be limited in what I can do with her while we wait because we have a baby as well. Thanks!

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in DCA and Toontown in DLR. Tom Sawyer Island as well but you're going to have to be mindful of the water. There's some forts and caves you can explore. It's roped off from the river.

Something really fun that's just a walk through is the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough. It has dioramas from the movie.

Redwood Creek is AMAZING. My boys used to LOVE it there when they were little.

The new Toontown is SO fun for little ones now. That's where I'd go with a baby in tow also. There is a ton of interactive stuff as well as traditional playground equipment like slides, spinners, seesaws, etc.

There are also plenty of smaller rides without height requirements that you can do while others ride more thrilling rides, like Storybook Canal Boats, Dumbo, Casey Jr Circus Train, etc. DCA has Monsters Inc, Jessie's Critter Carousel, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwwind, Little Mermaid, Golden Zephyr.

Thank you!! This all sounds great! Sounds like I’ll have no trouble keeping her distracted!

Just shy of 38 inches so she’s not quite there yet.
So close! But there are so many rides that are wonderful with no height limit like Webslingers and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Even Roger Rabbit in Toontown has no height limit, and Chip and Dale’s Gadget-Coaster is a real roller coaster with a height limit of 35 inches.

Mater and Luigi’s in Carsland have height limits of 32 inches. Smuggler’s Run in Galaxy’s Edge is 38 inches.

You can use the rider switch option for the rides baby can’t go on, which means the older kids can ride each one twice (once with each parent).

Have a great time!
