Does anyone know of a good list of play areas for small kids in the parks? If not, lets get one started.
Don't forget to Add:

Park
Land/Area
Name of Play Area
Theming
Also, if the kids are likely to get wet in this area.

Ok, I'm going to keep a running list up here so it's easy for us mom's to print out. Thanks everyone!

MK
Fantasyland

Pooh's Playful Spot
(right across from the Pooh Honey Pot Ride)
Pooh's tree house to play in, a log to climb through and some water jets
Ariel's Grotto -There is a water play area with an ocean theme.
Special tip - (Carousel - Cinderella's horse has a gold ribbon!)
ToonTown
Donald's Boat - all water jet play
Special tip - (Be at ToonTown at opening for special character interaction!)
Frontierland
Play area By Splash Mountain, Under the Railroad tracks
Tom Sawyer's Island
Lots of little places to discover.
AdventureLand
Tikki gods - Step on the footprints and dodge the spraying water
(Watch out for the Camel in front of Aladdin's Magic Carpet's He Spits!)

MGM
Honey I Shrunk the Kids Play area – May be for kids 4 and over.

EPCOT
Mission Space Area

play area with tunnels, looks a bit like something you'd find at an indoor fast-food play place but slightly space themed.
Imagination Pavillion
Kodak What If Labs - interactive fun!
Test Track
Play area and cars at the end of Test Track
World Showcase
Passport/Kidcot Stations - have fun learning a little about the countries if your child is old enough to get any of it
China - watch the candy lady and the drummers
Between The Big Fountain and WS
Dancing Fountains - have fun watching and playing in these fountains
Babbling Water Fountains -
1) Face the "Fountain of Nations" with Spaceship Earth behind you. The talking water fountain is outside Mouse Gear, on your left.
2) There's another to the right of the magic/play fountain between World Showcase and Future World.
3) The third is behind Innoventions West, near the restroom.

AK
DinoLand

Boneyard - Typical slides and stuff with some dinosaur theming
more suitable for children who are at least 3 or 4, not much toddler sized equipment
Rafki's Plant Watch
Affection Section - Basically a Disneyfied petting zoo
Africa
Stop and dance to the beat of the drummers!
Asia
they used to have a small water play area where the kids got SOAKED outside of the MAjarajah Jungle trek and Kali. It looked like the pop jets, but they came out of little sewer holes of some sort.

DTD
Lego World

A slide and a typical playground structure
Also, a splash/popjet area and an area with little rides (train ride).

In MK Fantasyland? my DD loved Pooh's Playful Spot right across from the Pooh Honey Pot Ride. There was Pooh's tree house to play in, a log to climb through and some water jets. In Mickey's Toontown there was Donald's Boat which is all water jet play. We didn't check it out but at MGM are friend's DD played in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Play area and she loved that one.

In Magic Kingdom there is also a couple of slides in the Toontown area.

Epcot's Mission Space has a play area with tunnels, looks a bit like something you'd find at an indoor fastfood playplace but slightly space themed. If I remember right there is also a kids play fountain somewhere on your way to the world showcase.

MGM has the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playset. But the last time I was there, they were telling parents it's only for children over the age of 4. The equipment is fairly large.

At Animal Kingdom kids can play in the Boneyard. Typical slides and stuff with some dinosaur theming. Again, it's more suitable for children who are atleast 3 or 4, not much toddler sized equipment.

If I remember right at Downtown Disney, there is a slide right outside of Lego World along with other things for the kids to do, and a typical playground structure somewhere in the shopping area.

There is one by Splash Mountain at MK under the Disney Railroad tracks.

Legoland at DT Disney.

DTD also has a splash/popjet area and an area with little rides (train ride).

Oh, last night I was looking at an old scrapbook and remembered that at the shop at the end of Journey into the Imagination there is a neat area for little guys. It's interactive mats that you step on and then an image is shown on it and sounds. Sorry I don't have a better description.

Does anyone know if the swingset/jungle gym is still in World Showcase? Last time we went my brother and sister had a lot of fun on it. My mom can't remember where it was ,maybe near Germany? We have pictures but the background isnt' clear enough to figure out where its at.

While you are waiting for loved ones having a great time at test track, there is an indoor play area where little ones can look around at cars and play for a while.

Also did someone mention dig site and AKL? If so, sorry I forgot.

OOPS! I see the OP did. Sorry, lack of sleep does this to me. :sad2:

MK - There is Ariel's Grotto w/a splash area

Also, in Epcot WS is there still a Viking Ship Play area in Norway?

Also, in AK - Rafiki's Planet Watch has the petting area (would that count)

In MK, there is also Tom Sawyer Island where the kids can play...

Might this be the one in Norway that Lisa0503 just mentioned? I have no idea as we haven't spent much time in WS yet!

If that during the Flower and Garden show in April/May then it was temporary...

Is this the one you're thinking of? (link to picture)

The Viking Ship has been refurbished in Norway, but you are no longer allowed on it
Thanks, I updated it.

Does anyone have anything else? It doesn't have to be a playground, just something for little ones enjoy that we might otherwise miss! Something that's tucked away, not on the map, or doesn't look like much.
Anything? :confused3
