I would love to hear from anyone that has done the meal plan..
1.what meals did u get? What was good/ not good?
2.are some restaurants betfer than others, or are they all pretty much the same?
3. I know snack carts arent included... so what are snack option (ie do some restaurants offer meals or side choices that make for a good "snack") popcorn or ice cream available anywhere on the plan?
We have eaten at Voyageurs (breakfast and dinner), Mango Joes (lunch), Seafire Inn (dinner), and Terrace Garden Buffet (lunch).
The only one we would not return to is the Terrace Garden Buffet (pizza, pasta, cookies). Its not "bad", but we were underwhelmed. There are better choices at SW, IMHO.
Voyageurs we had breakfast combo platters (consisting of various combinations of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast sticks, etc.). We also had fresh fruit and the biggest blueberry muffins on earth.
We have also had the barbecue platters at Voyageurs (super yummy). DH always has the barbecued chicken and ribs combo platter (he loves it). I have had the barbecued chicken platter and the beef brisket platter (both great). I can't remember what the boy ate (bad mom that I am......obviously mine was so good I was too busy eating to notice). We have also had their fruit cups, side salads, french fries, chocolate cake, cookies, and pudding cups with whipped cream.
Mango Joes....we all had their chicken tenders and fries. Delish.
Seafire Inn.....I had a turkey bread bowl with mashed potatoes and gravy. I can't remember for the life of me what DH had

but DS had alfredo pasta with chicken (all good, but we preferred our dinner at Voyageurs). DH had either cheesecake or carrot cake, DS and I both had the chocolate cake (yup, AGAIN!). Seafire had quite a few choices that sounded good, it was hard to pick!
For snacks, we enjoyed fruit cups, watermelon, cookies, gigantic pickles, fries, etc.
For drinks....hot chocolate, soda, milk, bottled water, coffee.
SW sells a refillable popcorn bucket for $4.99.....refills are 99 cents. Good for the life of the bucket (you can bring it back year after year) and also at Aquatica and Busch Gardens, too.
I don't think ice cream is anywhere on the plan, as the desserts are mostly offered cafeteria style, where you would go up and grab something that sitting in the self-service display case. Ice cream would melt.
For other meal options, there is pizza offered at several places, as well as wraps and sandwiches too.
We love the SW dining plan!! In our opinion, the meals offered on the plan are as good as (and in many cases, BETTER than) Disney's counter service.
