We will be checking into the Dolphin on Friday afternoon. Where would you purchase the Play 4. We won't be using them until the next day for EE.

I'm not sure what the play 4 is - but if it is Disney passes you can purchase at guest services in the hotel lobby area.

It's a Florida resident pass called the "play 4 days" pass. It's $116 and it's basically a 4 day park hopper pass. The only restriction is that it has to be used by a certain time of year, right now if you buy one it expires June 4th. They usually offer them during the winter/early spring season and again in the fall.

I wasn't sure if I could buy a Play 4 pass at the Dolphin since it isn't owned by Disney. It sure will be nice if I can.

Last time when we stayed there with our friends, they weren't able to purchase the play 4 passes at the Dolphin/Swan. You can get them ahead of time at AAA or maybe even the Disney store. I would call these places. If not, the night you arrive, walk over the the International Gateway entrance to Epcot and you can purchase them right there. That's what I'll be doing next month when staying at the Yacht Club since we didn't renew our AP's this time around.

The only time we got a Play 4 was 2 years ago. We bought it ahead of time. It was just a voucher that had to be exchanged at Disney for the actual ticket. We did this at Epcot the day we arrived as it was closest to our resort(POR could not do this) . We showed FL ID, gave info, and did the finger scan. Ticket was ready to go the next morning.
We have since become fans of seasonal passes-you can convert to that with a Play 4 anytime until the end date on the ticket. Even after you use it.
At least all this was true 2 years ago. :D

We get a Play 4 every year and then upgrade to a SAP. We did not do this last year (upgrade) since we were not going to be going to WDW as much. We had a couple of other large trips already planned. We have always purchased them at the onsite hotels and I wasn't sure if the International Gateway had a place to purchase these tickets. We were wanting to use them the next am for EE and I know that the guest services don't always open that early (from experience!)

You can always stop in to the YC, BC, or BW the night before and get it from Guest Services there. Otherwise, you will be able to get it at the IG ticket booth.

I called yesterday and ordered mine. They charge a $3.00 fee for mailing or you can pick them up at the guest services at the parks. When they mail them they are vouchers that you have to turn in anyway so I just opted to pick them up when I get there.
