:thumbsup2 Is this based on a point system like the magic your way dining? I went to Disney World .com and it clearly states on the dining plan some meals are worth two "points" but it doesn't say that on the platinum plan. Just wanted someone who has been on this plan to confirm one way or another.

We just returned from our trip 6/21 through 6/28. We were on the "Premium Plan" and there were no "2 pointers" anywhere. We dined at Yachtsman's Steakhouse, California Grill, Flying Fish and Narcoossees and each meal was 1 "coupon" each.

As I understand it when you are on the Premium or Platinum Package there are more participating restaurants and all of them count as 1 TS. You can also eat 3 TS meals a day which for breakfast includes the entree plus 2 beverages (1 hot/1 cold) and for lunch and dinner includes Appetizer, Entree, Dessert. In addition on the Platinum I believe you get one snack per day.

We did the Premium Package in June and from a food aspect is was great and we even managed to break even on the cost but we crammed alot of the extras and recreation in also.

1) On the Platinum Plan, you don't worry about points.
2) You couldn't run out if you tried VERY hard.
3) Almost ANYTHING you want to do or eat is included.
4) In order to make the Platinum Plan pay-off
. . . eat at high-class restaurants every lunch nd every dinner you are there
. . . do a major activities once, twice or thrice per day
. . . do activities and not go to the parks

NOTE: Since the plan is so expensive, you need to get your money's worth. So, do the expensive things like golf, para sailing, tours, cruises, etc. Going to the parks is actually cheaper for the day than doing activities, and makes it not worth the price of the plan. The Platinum Plan IS PERFECT for someone who wants a non-park trip and do the things they could get around to, or couldn't afford to, otherwise.

The information on Disney's site... grr! :furious: When you click on the premium/platinum dining link it takes you to the Magic Your Way plus dining info - totally frustrating! Just a few months ago those packages had their own separate link with the correct info, I even printed it. We are going in September using the prem. plan. The info I have states Fulton's, Portobello and RFC @ AK are participating restaurants (2005) info. Of course those places don't participate with MYW+, thus aren't on the list where the link takes me ... I called Dining to clarify. (We have ADR's at all.) The CM said they ARE participating ... I don't know whether to believe her. Someone suggested I call the restaurants directly. I will but haven't yet. I'm afraid they will tell me that they aren't participating. Then I will have to redo the itinerary. I've been planning this trip since December - 2005! :sad2: For as much $$ we have paid for this trip, we shouldn't have to haggle over this. Sorry for hijacking your thread, but I feel better.
