do they still have the platinum package -- (ok, I know they still have the package) wondering about the dining plan that is attached to it.... is it similar to the other dining plans or is it still 3 meals (anywhere) and a snack??? just wondering.

thanks

Yes they have the premier dining package, don't know what could be better than the regular dinner plan, it gives us all we need and then some!!

This package interests us for some of the other features such as the water acitivities, the golf, la nouba.... etc..

the meal plan is a bounus, but when we have done a "grand" plan or premuim package we like to eat at many table service resturants, so was wondering if it covers these, or if you only get a certain number of points or tickets??

You get breakfast, lunch and dinner each day anywhere you want. Doesn't matter if it's CS or TS.

Thank you.

Oops! Never mind- I read it wrong - I was thinking Premium plan vs. Platinum.

For 2006, Disney has a Premium and a Platinum package. They are roughly equivilent to the old Gold and Platinum packages respectively. Premium has 3 meals a day, Platinum has 3 meals plus one snack per day. They both include recreation, Cirque, etc.

The way the meals were tallied in '04 was with points on your room key - so 4 points per person per night. There was no differentiation between snacks and meals. Not that one could eat 4 sit-down meals a day, but the point is if you want to, you *could* lol! ;)
