The gifts don't change year to year. They change when DCL wants to give something new. That's how we wound up with 4 gold beach bags.

Typically the basic gift is a bag (depending on the itinerary it could be a beach bag, a sling bag, or a back pack). Gold and Platinum also receive an additional gift (recently it's been a photo album).
