That is interesting! I got charged a deposit when I booked rack rate, it was never refunded when I switched to the Stay & Play rate and they didn't charge me a new one either. Sounds like they don't have a real defined policy. I think for "just in case" I'll bring a copy of my bank statement showing what they charged and hope for the best. I'm paranoid like that, lol

That is what I find they normally do. They will just credit your hotel account with your original deposit. It works fine that way. We had our rate changed twice before our last stay. The original deposit just remained.

Unfortunately, it is not the full amount of my original deposit, it's equal to one night at the Stay & Play rate not rack rate. Then they charged a deposit equal to one night at the Super Saver rate. I hope this isn't too big of a pain to straighten out

You'd think Loews would quit hiring 3rd graders to do their accounting.
