Platinum check in at PC

Next cruise will be our first platinum check in. Please explain how this is different from Gold?

Assuming you are sailing out of Port Canaveral, when you enter the main hall of the terminal head to the back right corner. That's where Concierge and Platinum cruisers check in.

Also, you won't have to choose a Port Arrival Time when you do on-line check in...you can arrive whenever you please.

And, if they continue as in the recent past, you will get boarding group number 1. So if you want to get on early, show up before they start boarding. You'll be right after concierge (they don't have a boarding number, they have a secret squirrel entrance).

Be sure to look for your platinum gifts once you get your room. You should have a form that states you can choose a fruit tray or bottle of bubbly. If not ask the attendant. They sometimes forget to put it in room. Choose the bubbly the fruit isn't thst good You can take the bottle to the MDR or palo and there is no charge to open. Also all adults in the room get a free dinner at palo. Be sure to tell the palo server you are platinum and using your credit otherwise you will get charged and have to go to GS to get it removed.
