Platinum benefits at RPC?

I finally got the platinum card. (I have usually gotten the non-qualifying APH rate.) OK, so what does that get me at RPH? I know I saw this info somewhere but I cannot find it now.

ps - by the way, I was disappointed at first that I couldn't get a club room this past Easter break. Now I realize however, that I don't really need it. My teenagers would never get up in time for breakfast and we never seemed to be at the hotel in the evening. I think that not having the club lounge actually saved me about 2000 calories a day. LOL

Platinum gets you an automatic suite upgrade at time of reservation if available at any of the resorts, as long as it is a qualifing rate. APH rates are not qualifing rates

Does RPH have only king suites? If that's the case then I'm afraid that the platinum is not going to do me any good. Oh well.
Maybe I can convince the kids into trying the HRH - but I doubt it.

I just checked the HRH and it seems to have king suites also. So, does anyone know what suites these hotels will upgrade a platinum card holder to?

At Royal Pacific and Hard Rock, you get upgraded to a King Suite. At Portofino, you get upgraded to a Portofino Suite which can have two queen beds as well as the extra parlor with a pullout.

I wish I could talk the boys into trying the Portofino but they will not budge - they love the RPH. And, their cousins are coming agin this July and they also love the RPH.
Oh well. But I was wondering if maybe I could use the upgrade on another trip. Do you know if it would work in California? It's time I got the boys away from Orlando. Any suggestions on good Lowe's hotels out West?

It works on all the Loews Hotels. We used it at the Loews Santa Monica and got a beautiful king suite overlooking the ocean.
