Platinum Annual Pass and DisneyQuest

I believe they have been letting folks in with the pass, but as PP states, it closes in a couple weeks for good.

Just received an email that Annual Passholders can get DisneyQuest tickets for $19.95 until it closes July 2.

Before it closes on July 2, experience the high-tech fun of DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park for only $19.98 + tax (adult and child tickets)!

You mean they are really closing it? This time? for real? o_O

Yep! The NBA restaurant is a go,as its been discussed plenty on these boards, its not a very popular change in this forum,I'm fine with it for the most part.

Another reason for me to continue skipping Disney Springs.

I've been living 10 minutes from Disney Springs for almost a year now,I don't go very frequently but once or twice a month I hit up the movie theater(usually the before noon showtimes that are like half price) or go get something to eat at night and check out Eddy Maserati dancing to the live music(the guy cracks me up).I rarely eat at the more expensive restaurants, ate at the Boathouse for Mothers day and while it was good,it was too expensive for what it was.The place has become a glorified mall with me passing on most of the stores but there are some unique options like Uniqlo where I actually like shopping at.

I can see why some might like it, but I have great shopping and restaurants where I live and work. I don't go to Disney to do either (though I understand that the food is a huge draw for some). I am happy for those who love Disney Springs. It just isn't my cup of tea. Now the old DTD - that was right up my alley!

Add to the long list of things that we miss at downtown Disney. Top of my list is pleasure island and the adventurers club.... what a great way to spend a night!
