Hello everyone,

Mousesavers just released a code FZL that gives 25% off the platinum deal. The 25% off extends to tickets etc. Good from 1/04-6/30. How can I get the best deal out of this offer? Thanks

Need a little more info to see if the deal is good for you. When do you plan to go and how many people? Which resort? How many days?

25% off is a nice discount...just depends on what it's for and how much you are actually saving...post and I'm sure the boards will help you figure it out!

I just requested a quote from small world. There will be me and my 3 kids 11,14,17. I guess staying at the least expensive Deluxe in a value season makes the most sense. I already have a 7/4 package for April at the Poly CL for Easter. More number crunching!:surfweb:

Copied from mousesavers - Are these deals normally available through the WDW online reservations? I am not seeing this to be the case

25% Off January-June Platinum Package

Get 25% off a Platinum Package when you stay January 4 through June 30, 2009. I have never before seen a discount offered on this ultimate package!

The all-inclusive Platinum Package includes accommodations at a Disney Deluxe resort or a select Deluxe Villa (DVC) resort (Beach Club Villas, Boardwalk Villas or Villas at Wilderness Lodge), plus three meals and two snacks per day, unlimited recreation and theme park tours, a spa treatment, an evening at Cirque du Soleil, a fireworks cruise and lots more!

With this offer, you really do get 25% off the entire package! For that reason, it might make sense to load up the package with 10-day tickets and get the Park Hopper, Water Parks Fun & More and No Expiration options, since you're getting 25% off those too -- an unprecedented discount on tickets. If you stay less than 10 days, you can alway use the remaining features on your No Expiration ticket during a future visit.

Availability is limited: some dates and resorts will be not be available. Reportedly April 5-18 are blacked out completely. You must book by 2/15/09.

Because of the complexity of this package, I strongly recommend booking it through a Disney Specialist travel agency such as Small World Vacations. They can help you take full advantage of all the many package inclusions.

I'm curious about this offer. Is this something that has to go through something other than WDW? Does anyone know? We are looking at all of our options for an end of January trip.

You can book the Platinum Package online at WDW or by phone. They do not have the discount listed yet. I priced a Platinum Package just now for the CR 4 people ,1 day tick.,6/29 for 6 nights.Rack rate. It came out to $8,803. 25% off should be $6,600 still OUCH! but I did it as a reference point. You can always drop the first and last day off the plan and just book a room only rate for those 2 nights. That way you save 2 days off the platinum which would come out to saving $1,200 for 4 people off the discounted plan. You can use the plan up until Midnight of checkout. The plan is so expensive that you should only use it for the full days you are at The World - not arriving and departing days.;)

I do like the suggestion of booking the full 10 day hopper/with more and no exp under the 25% rate. That part is really tempting
Or better yet - can I book a package like this with AP's or is the best I can do is take the 10day hopper/more no exp and upgrade to AP when I am at the park?

i was trying to find the mimimum amount of days required for this and didnt see it say anything however the cm i spoke to stated 3 days, anyone have an idea?

If you get the 10 day hopper - no exp - water park ticket it would be at a 25% discount you could then upgrade to a AP for the difference and save mega bucks! I may already have a AP by then which is why I would pick a 1 day ticket which is the minumum required. One day tickets have no exp. so I would just save them for a future visit:goodvibes

I just crunched some numbers. If you chose the 10day - no exp - hopper - water and more option it would be $571. Minus the 25% with the Plat. deal it would be $142 less, $429. You could ten updrade to a AP for for essentially a $142 discount. A regular AP would be free as it is regularly$499. You do however have to use the Platinum plan for the discount which is not cheap!

Small World just gave me a quote of $5,685 for 6 nights 6/29-7/5 at the CR-Garden Wing room. One day base tickets on the Platinum Plan. They stated it was a savings of $1,893. Does anyone know if everyone in the room needs the one day ticket, or just one person. We will have AP's. Thanks:cutie:

Oh that package WOULD be amazing!! But $5000 or more?? We could go to Europe for that!:goodvibes

Thanks love2roam!

Europe is great, but my heart (and money) belong to a certain mouse!:wizard:

Does anyone happen to know if there are age limits on the "in-room" child care?

I just booked this package for 8 nights in May at the CR GV with a 1 day base ticket for $4800.

We had been booked on the 4/3 at the Ft. Wilderness cabins, but after having been on the deluxe package a few years ago paying a bit over $5k for 7 nights, this is an incredible deal. Particularly for those people who don't mind not spending much time in the parks and instead, doing other things.

i do not know for sure about the platinum package childcare...but if it is using Kids' Nite Out sitters (which is Disney sanctioned) ...and I bet it prob is...then there is no age limit

KNO has an age limit of 6 months to 12 years.

Those Plat Plans sound like a dream vacation. They cover everything! As another poster mentioned it is for those who don't want parks 100% of their stay.
