Wondering if you order parkhoppers thru AAA website, do you get the hard plastic tickets? I know you get paper when you buy thru disneyland or other travel agencies, but I thought I saw a post at one point referring to plastic tickets through AAA. When you get to delivery selection on the disneyland/AAA page, it doesn't list e-ticket as an option. Any help would be great. thanks.

Our tix thru AAA were the plastic, credit card kind. This year we're going with the paper kind, and I'm a little nervous. The plastic ones were easy to zip into a pocket, pull back out, and you'd notice if they weren't where they were supposed to be. I'm afraid I won't be able to keep track of the paper ones as well, and I'm always worried about the destructive powers of water, spilled juice, etc...

When we bought our AAA package for Sept 2009 we received the plastic credit card tix.

Are tickets purchased through Disneyland.com plastic or paper? The plastic are a lot more durable particularly when it comes to rain and/or water attractions.

Our AAA tix were part of a package - tix and hotel. This time it was cheaper to do them seperately, hence my worry about paper tickets.

I can't speak for online but when you go into a AAA office and buy just tickets- they are paper.

I to was very concerned about keeping them safe! Upon buying them I immediately put them in my wallet- just like cash! I never had any problems. I did not allow my individual family members to hold onto theirs, even DH. They all went into my wallet, once at the parks I opened my wallet, took them out and put them right back in again. No one had to dig around for their individual paper ticket and didn't have the worry of where or what had happened to it. We all knew they were safe and sound in MOM's wallet. Just don't loose your wallet!:rolleyes1

I wish they were all plastic. But when we do get paper tickets, I always make a copy of the backs of the ticket, then if they get lost or ruined they can be replaced easily at Customer Service. (Although, we've never actually had to replace them.)

We're heading to DL for the first time. We're staying at VGC and was wondering if we can have our park tickets added on to our room key like we have at VWL. Is that possible?

Nope. They don't do that at DLR yet.

You can call Walt Disney Travel and ask for the "Passport Plus" package which will include the plastic tickets. The price is the same, but shipping will be added. I believe you can order the "Passport plus" package through AAA as well, but I am am not sure.

I'm a travel agent and I order this for my family everytime! I love the plastic tickets. We have 5 people and all the tickets are always different.

so if we print our voucher online from ares travel and take it to the ticket booth at the main gate will they give us paper or plastic tickets?

I've bought our tickets through AAA a few times and they have been plastic.

I just printed the tickets from Disneyland.com yesterday. They are paper.;)

The instructions on the tickets say to print, take to regular turnstiles and a CM will switch them out. You don't have to wait in any ticket lines, just proceed like normal. I'm assuming you then get the smaller sized paper tickets as the ones printed from the website are 8 1/2 x 11.

Anyone know for sure??

Is there an option to have tickets shipped at Disneyland.com? If so, how long does it usually take? We're going in late June so I just want to make sure we don't order them too late, although I suppose we could use the print-at-home option if necessary.
