Plastic tickets?

Just wondering where to get the plastic v. paper tickets. I know, not very environmentally friendly, but I find that they hold up better on a multi-day ticket and also make a better gift (which these will be). I usually use Ares or Orbitz to save a little $, but these give an email voucher to trade at the gate or ticket booth and that's always been a paper ticket for us.

Does anyone know how/where to get the plastic, credit card type? Tried my local Disney store, but they only had 2 and 3 day. Does Safeway still have these?

Hi,

I am not sure where you would find plastic tickets for Disneyland and California Adventure. My recommendation is to call Disney directly and see if they know if Plastic tickets are sold in store and if they still do where. Hope this helps!

Disney Store, grocery or big box stores or a vacation package which includes a souvenir ticket. With the package I think you'd still have to pick it up on site. They may not sell 4&5 day tickets as a plastic ticket in retail stores. The tickets are actually tyvek, which holds up better than paper. I think that they sell gift vouchers instead of just the regular ticket voucher, so that could be an option.

The only place I know to get them is with a package through WCTC, Costco, etc., that specifically includes a Souvenir Ticket. Otherwise, you get the cardstock (not paper) ticket.

I have been getting my package from Costco for years and have always gotten plastic tickets. We get different characters on each card. Last set were Carsland themed. I wonder if the local Safeway/Vons would let you have the expiring card as they have no value until they are paid for.
