Plastic sheeting wrapped house

Oh my!!!!! I just saw on MSNBC a man wrapping the whole OUTSIDE of his house with plastic sheeting and Duck(duct) tape in case of an attack. I guess he wants his WHOLE house to be a safe room!!!!!

I hope he doesn't have kids, because those poor things are going to be ridiculed.

Not to mention the fact that he just stopped his house from 'breathing' and could build up fatal levels of Carbon Monoxide and Radon in his house....

Well this is obviously not well thought out. If he does a really good job he will run out of oxygen inside his house.

While I think being reasonably prepared is a smart idea when the media overdoes some stories (like duct tape and plastic) there are people out there without a rational educated bone in their bodies that take these things to absurd conclusions.

Shortly before this came on this morning the thought of carbon monoxide poisoning had occured to me. I was wondering when they would find some poor soul dead because of the plastic wrap.

This fellow is either a fool or looking for a way to make the news....or probably both.

I don't think he's 'loaded', he just probably got a good deal on
plastic sheeting on Ebay!
I sure hope he leaves some 'air room' in his house.....
