Hello everyone:

I'm new!

I have purchased a ticket to the October 27, 2015 MNSSHP, and I would prefer a plastic ticket rather than having the ticket on my MB, because I want to use it in my scrapbook.

My question is this: how do I obtain a plastic ticket? I was not given the option to have one mailed to me when I purchased it online. Can I get a plastic ticket when I arrive at my resort or at the MK?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Really ? I was given that option as well as a will call pick up...

Not very helpful here but we got a plastic ticket and no other option, we bought them shortly after they went on sale and got 10/29, they sent us the tickets in the mail. we actually wanted them on our magicbands. So not sure why they changed.

I originally set my tickets up for will-call pickup, but then I called Disney and had them shipped to my home for the same reason as yours. Just give them a call and you will have them in a few weeks! FYI though- the hard tickets are one of the characters, and not special Halloween insignia.

I bought 2 for Sept 25 in late July and received them in the mail about 2 weeks later. They are both plastic tickets, one with Donald and the other with Minnie. I wasn't given an option at purchase and both shown immediately after purchase on my MDE.

Thanks for your quick responses, everyone! In thinking over the transaction, I may have selected an option to print at home, with the idea that I could use the paper confirmation in my scrapbook (this is before I realized that they actually issue plastic tickets). That being said, I never received an e-mail or link in MDE to allow me to print the ticket. The ticket shows up in my MDE account, fortunately.

It's a bit of a mystery!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can exchange those paper tickets for hard-copy tickets at Guest Services. My thought behind this is that people who stay off site might not have magic bands so there has to be an exchange mechanism.

I ordered tickets for three nights, and two plastic tickets arrived in the mail. I called to ask where my third one was, and apparently I'd somehow managed to select "print at home" for the third one. The lady on the phone told me that I'd be exchanging the print at home page for a hard ticket at the park. So you should be able to get a hard ticket at the park.

Not necessarily true. Two parties last year. Both parties they did not exchange but had us come through with the printed ticket. One party they scanned and gave it back (so we could use for Sorcerer's card) and the second party they kept them all. I would try to get it exchanged prior to just before the party so you have it. If you wait until arrival they might say there are too many and just use your printout.

^ If they don't give you a hard ticket, how will you prove to CMs that you have a ticket for the party in order to get on rides and such after 7pm? Continue to show your print out, or are you given a wristband? I can't remember how we did it last time.

Pick your Wristband up at 7pm and you'll be good to go for the rest of the night.

You are given a wristband.

You can get it as early as 4PM (or 3:45 on some days) just inside the front gates, or at two locations set up inside MK (Adventureland and Tomorrowland.)
