Hello!

I'm going to have a couple of bits in our room for breakfast (bagels, cereal etc)

We're staying at AKL and I am planning to take some plastic cutlery and paper plates etc to make this a bit easier!

I was just wondering if there is cutlery availble in the Mara at all? As all meals will be subsidised with something from there anyway, so could I take a couple of extra spoons/knives?

Or am I best to just pack them from home as planned?

Since you are coming from the UK, just use what they have at Mara's. We always grab a few extras when we go, mostly because when I get back to the room someone wants to share (especially my chocolate cake even though they got their dessert) and now I know I have enough. They are black plastic utensils.

:) Thank you!

Is it the same with bowls and plates? I'm assuming they aren't a help yourself thing? Don't fancy eating my cereal from my refillable mug! :lmao:

Disney World has an abundance of plastic cutlery and napkins. However, plates and bowls are another story. What we do is pack our own "real" plates and bowls and use them (washing them out in the sink after use). That way, you only need one per person and you help out the environment a bit by not using paper every time.

Awesome, thank you!

I actually got some really cute plastic picnic plates recently, so if I can get two plastic cheap bowls too, then I can take them and not worry too much about if they don't fit on the way home too. :)

We packed two inexpensive plastic cereal bowls from home for cereal (with milk) in our room for our granddaughters. We got plastic spoons from the QS at the Poly. It worked great. I found the bowls in the infants department of a moderate price store (Target.) They came in a set of 5 for under $10. They were large enough without taking up much space in luggage. I just packed a pair or two of socks inside them. The shower gel works fine for dish washing.

:) Thank you! I was wondering about washing the bowls up!
