Plants to Share

My son is selling his house and is busy dividing iris, peonies and other plants (daylilies and so forth) and planting them at his sister's new house. He told her that most of the original plants were from my garden so I am happy and so is she. My old neighbors tell me my garden looks like hell. Why did they insist they wanted the house because of the gardens? I certainly would have taken more plants and given more away if I had known. Breaks my heart but I am soooo glad Sarah will reap some of the plantings.

Well, I don't quite understand your post, but I do think that it was pretty rude of your neighbors to be so critical of your garden.

Unless you're sellling your home don't worry about what others think. Simply plant the garden that speaks to your heart and enjoy it.

That is such a shame , marlasmom...and it would break my heart too, to know that the gardens I tended with love looked like hell.

I'm glad you brother is sharing your babies..maybe someday you can get some of those babies back, now that they are staying in the family.
