Has anyone planted seedlings, and have to protect them from wild animals digging them up? I have pumpkin seedlings that are ready to go into the ground, but there are wild pigs that I have to watch for. They have done damage to my seedlings before, and it is not an area where I can fence off. Any ideas? Luckily we do not have to deal with deers here.

I've never successfully kept wild animals away. I gave up trying to grow green beans because rabbits loved the plants!

I hope you succeed!

Thanks Bobbi. So far the pigs did not get my plants. Crossing my fingers each night I hear the dogs barking that the pigs are not in my garden.
