Hi Everyone,

Still working on the foot :goodvibes It is still swollen and the hard knot is still there.

My Earth Shoes arrived - wore them this afternoon and my legs feel tired. A foot & leg massage sounds really-really good!

Could not find it locally so I ordered the short, ankle length Strasbourg Sock at https://www.northcoastfootcare.com

On my way to the gym this morning-

I went for my 30-minute Foot Reflexology Massage Treatment last night. It felt really-really good. It was not a first treatment cure-all, I still have some swelling and the big knot this morning, but it also feels much better. She said it was unusual that I had taken the time to do all the things to take care of my foot instead of just going to get the shots, etc.

It might take a while to heal, but it is improving! :goodvibes

WISHers Thanks So Much for all your advise and encouragement! :grouphug:

Yikes, I'm having a flare up of PF, after a year of being free of it.

Do I keep to my walking routine (2 miles a day) or take time off?

I've skipped walking the last two days :(

Don't know how painful yours is but mine would not tolerate my usual walking schedule. I do easy walks of 3-4 miles come home stretch and ice. You should not walk on the treadmill.

I did not want to take a chance on not being able to do the Detroit Half in October.

I rest my foot more - cut way back on my miles and added bike miles.
Do NOT go barefooted even in the house, during the night to the bathroom, etc - protect your foot it's the only one your are going to have.

Are you doing the icing, stretching, massage ball, & Ibuprofen.
Check your shoes - how many miles do you have on them? Mine looked like new but were wore out.
Plus I had two foot massage/reflexology treatments.

Mine is a lot better but still some swelling and soreness - I have had it about 5 weeks.

Thanks, yes, I'm using ice, stretching, taking ibuprofen, wearing a night splint, never going barefoot, using gel heel cups, etc. It took over a year for PF to go away for me last time. :sad2:
